Surely it can't be the bloke that a few people have been insinuating because he claimed to be at a Hahndorf game on the 12th of August and while I think he was injured that particular game I would have thought that he'd still be expected to attend his own club's match.

dont worry ORD im pretty sure its not really who they say it is. he may be a drunk but hes not that much of an idiot. i say its more likely to be some teenager who worships the bloke trying to stir up some mischief. fair to say he does a good job at stirring tho. certainly got that part down pact.

Winger, its fair to say that Bawdo and Schnid would struggle for a game of B Grade at Devil Park. Dont get me wrong, top blokes but surely not in the class of stapleton, fleet, broadbridge and artis.

Yes and there has been a change of programming for the first week of central finals.
Uraidla and Onkas will play on saturday at Mt Barker i believe.
and on Sunday, Hahndorf make the trip to heathfield for a second week in a row, this time taking on blackwood

As an outsider i'd be curious to know if this is the first year in a while that Mt Barker hasn't made the finals or has their slide been on for a while now?

mt barker are an ageing team...at the moment theres not a lot of players to support the people like nunan murphy and netschitowsky a good solid year of recruiting could solve these problems though

Kersbrook have beaten Birdwood today in the elim final. Birdwood have a lot of work to do if they are to be competitive in Central Div, but are a young side and do have several talented players.

First time since 1996 I reckon that Mt Barker has missed finals. Speaking of which, Lobethal... I can't understand the logic on Saturday. You'd think with percentage to keep in check, the coach might have done some flooding or even the dreaded 'keepsy's' against Uri .. but not to be. Boys bounced back well after Lofty loss and big Joel, Georgey Boy and co in good form to tackle Onkas this Saturday. Why the change of scenery? I thought playing at Heathfield mite be bad, but at Mt Barker for such an important game.. that ground is a disgrace, hopefully the wet weather is just passing or it'll be shades of last year ... still we did pretty well in the bog if I remember. Probably a good example of how bad Bridgewater are ... bit of a joke, but appears Blackwood is laughing!

Well, I'll be staggered...probably, waht 3 percentage points keeps out Loby and in comes Blackwood.
Bye bye hahndorf...they were VERY ordinary on the weekend and Blackwood will see anything now as a bonus after their crap start to the season.
Uris V Onkas, cracker! What a b#tch it's at Mt Barker...what's that about?
Lobey only have themsleves to blame, what a let down. They looked good a couple of weeks ago.

I can't believe they're playing a final at Mt Barker. It's got the worst deck in the hills by a MILE, poor facilities (especially for visitors), crap viewing and when the ball gets kicked over the fence, there's a massive delay before a re-start. There are plenty of other grounds in better condition for hosting finals. Come on HFL!

It'd be a friggin joke if it was to be played at Barker.
I guess the assumption must be made that Lobey is being used? And why not Heathfield? What's the surface like at Blackwood?

I agree why wouldnt you use the big decks of blackwood or loeby?? I suppose they have got finals later in the series( including the big one) and the league must wanna share it around. I think sundays games are at Heathfiled. Its not easy finding a nuetral ground when the 3 of the worst grounds, Bridgy, I/Bank, H/dorf aren't being represented by their A-grade. Is it possible for Central teams to use Country grounds, and Vice Versa?? Kangarilla would be a good venue.

I reckon it stayed that way, massive wins for Lofty and Blackwood and Barker and Uris won well too, I think.
Indian - I'm pretty sure that Central finals games have been at Milang before, so I guess it's OK.

I reckon all finals should be played at Milang, too good to waste but Owen has already stated this year that because Milang aren't playing in our league this year, use of their oval is out of the question. That seems pretty stupid to me.
