Personally I dont think it wouldn't be real satisfying to just jump on a bandwagon thats already steaming along. I know mates are important but wouldn't you either go home or find a club where you get some satisfaction in building a team!

The attraction would be i think that if the player lived in Adelaide, LC is an hour or so away whilst Tant is about 5 hours!!

Have the bays appointed anyone as coach yet? Last i read was they were close to it. You would think after last seasons efforts they would be doing alot of research into who gets the job, they would be tempted to put someone that is very well liked around the area in the position to try get local players back out.

I got the impression from a few mates out there that they were not all that happy with him and some were thinking ov leaving or not playing at all if he stayed on and with the points system they could really struggle with numbers one would imagine.

Lets hope they have done there research kappars, that Bassani lead them out of the finals for the first time in years! Apparently this is the reason he was looking to withdraw his application but was talked out of it by the playing group in the end.

Just would like to respond to the thought of Josh King being one of the best fowards the GSFL has seen.I think it's nonsense that you could consider that, yes good player but one of the greats NO WAY.If he was one of the greats he would of won the GF off his own boot,to often we get caught up in all the hype about greatness and all to often they don't produce in big games.Great players should be judged on big game performances, not 20 goal floggings on bottom sides.

Dane Rolfe would've made as big an impression as King IMHO. And that was sharing the forward line with a bloke named Modra.

So thats at least Princi and Bayliss gone! The Bays will need to use 8 points to replace them!

Dont take this as gospel because I have heard it second hand so i am just putting it out there for discussion. The mail is that Manuel, Love, Buckley and King are almost certainties to leave LCreeek. If its true would be a big loss, especially when you consider the amount of points that will be required to replace players of that calibre.

Well if thats true LF they are gone, and so is the leauge! We will see how wrong this points system is Willunga being the only club to vote against it will now be clearly out in front by a country mile.Is it a coincidence that the brains behind it (Herman Lucas,Terry Thompson) are heavily involved down there at Willunga,i smell a rat and it stinks!

The up side for the Creek, is that at least they've had a game without these 4 guys having an impact. They should have some idea of how they'll go without them...

Thats good to hear FM hopefully with the year under (your) his belt the group will have formed a strong bond and be able to put together a strong season and be up were that side on paper should have been. Gd luck to the bays in 08. I had a few or 20 drinks with a major sponser and a bloke running for the president of the bays and they were in good spirits and looking forward to 08.
