As i said it wasn't gospel, I didn't know the truth and didn't claim it to be. We do seem to now have the truth though, or at least the other side of the story, something that wouldn't have happened had I not got the ball rolling. Something most on here are to gutless to do!!

Per our phone convo, you now know the person who thought it unsavoury.......not to be posted!!

Roger Puckridge twice belted Sam Telfer with resulting injuries as stated in the paper. Comment from a Cougars person was that it was fairly unsavoury.

Not hard to do is it??? Not claiming it is gospel but that's what I got told. Just post what you hear people, spice this joint up!!!

KWF, you seem to have some goss?? Post it, crap site if all we get is people saying they know something but won't put it up.

Rant over....

all very well panther but perhaps some truth before you post would help. perhaps you can also name the cougars person who said it was "unsavoury" because nobody at our training last night was saying anything as such.
i have not read the letter, but the facts are this, telfer was hit by a "fair bump" by roger in the first quarter. they are not my words but the words of the umpire and was heard by players. that apparently was when the injuries occured. late in the third quarter roger was dumped by telfer late, umpire let it go, roger not happy and went to the middle of the ground and with an open hand pushed telfers face. i did see this. umpire was 3 metres away and had a very clear view. umpire sent roger off which was correct. if it had been a fist then the umpire would have definately seen it.

We had a central umpire that considered Sammy Reads bump as "fair" in the grand final last year as well DJD, (In fact he didn't even warrant it as a free kick???), however he was reported by the boundary umpire, (which is another story that I won't go in to), but he ended up copping 8 weeks. Anyway, won't go there ... but would be fair to say that all clubs will go in to bat for their players.

From the desk of Bluey:

You've got the new names for the two's:

The Eye of the Eagle
Pecking Peckers
Wayback Demon Devils
Marauding Rangers
Tasman Killer Bees

And then you've got:

Boston Tigers

How would Chook feel, Bluey's come around to him, and his imagination has gone out the window...

Time to see which of my sources are more reliable:

Scenario 1: Round 10 (B/MP) clash is moved to Poole Oval, with the resultant round 15 match going to UFC Oval.

Scenario 2: Round 10 clash moved to Ravendale.

Can't wait to see which source got it right, or if they are both FOS. :D

And Tiger08, you may as well give me $50 like you said earlier, I'm donning the orange on satty...
