Murrayville v Karoonda
Murrayville are traveling well at the moment and are looking confident heading towards the finals. They have multiple scoring options with Clayton Sporn, Shannon Wyatt, Michael O’Malley & Kevin Wyatt up forward. Drew Crane will have an influence wherever he plays with Rian Crane & Damien Fenoughty quality midfielders. There is an abundance of big men with James Dixon, Will Dalwood & Dustin Pearson all very capable ruckmen.
Justin Maloney is a standout performer for Karoonda week after week. Luke Hocking, Simon martin & Scott Huxtable provide midfield support with lucas Neumann having his best season for the club. Adrian Gregory works hard at half forward as does Eli Koch in defence.
Murrayville at home will be hard to beat.
BDT v Lameroo
BDT stepped up last week, brushing Pinnaroo aside easily without a big contribution from Josh Richardson. The midfield looks strong with Lachlan Richardson, Mark Vandeleur, Clint Richardson & Ben Hooper in good touch. Shane Binns, Matt Schilling & Nathan Todd provide mobile targets up forward with Jarvis Webb a strong ruckman.
Lameroo don’t appear to have too many weaknesses. Ben Venning has found some great form at centre half forward, with crumbers Ryan Walker, Shaun Walker, Josh Ridgway & Dan Wohling all contributing on the scoreboard. Brad Zerk is coming back to form after injury and Rodney Maynard contributes wherever he plays.
Lameroo look good & should defeat BDT.
Pinnaroo v Peake
Pinnaroo continue to stumble when they should be building towards the finals. Chad & Wade Nickolls provide strength in ruck & up forward. Mark Gum is a strong marking forward & Alex Keogh is a good young goal kicker. Matt Standley can play at either end of the ground & Heath Boseley is also versatile. Sunyl Vogt is vital for Pinnaroo if they are to have any impact in the finals.
Peake continue to be competitive with recruits Mark Boothey, Shaun Holland & Tim Aloisi regularly amongst the best players. Brendan Pett & Gareth Diprose are good ball winners, either in the midfield or defence. Jamie Downs provides a target in the goal square.
Peake won easily last time they met, but Pinnaroo should bounce back & win.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
