Coulthard has stood down from the coaching position at Lincoln South for the 2008 season. Due to work commitments and family reasons Viv decided he couldnt put the required time in to do this demanding position. This was announced at training last night by the club president who thanked Viv for the effort he has put in over his coaching period. Viv has indicated he still would like to have a kick for the club and still be involved in some capacity. The club is glad to have sorted this out a early (month into training ) so we can now step forward and create some momentum from here.
The new coach will be announced at the next training (Tues).

No comment from me or the club on the issue until new coach is announced.

HS doesn't count though if you change clubs and go to a sub standard competition to get a game of A grade.

.

a substandard league that seems to woop you guys in any interleague competition....oh but thats right we have 6 teams to pick from, my bad

As I've said many times before, you don't judge a leagues strength based on the best 21 in the league. There are great footballers in all leagues. Take a look at the last 30 perhaps and you will get your guide.

I'd say the last 5 picked in GF sides would only play B's in Lincoln, whereas the last 5 in Lincoln would be consistent A graders in GF......

Eags agrees with me on this theory.....

WTF is that supposed to mean? Jack has played consistent A grade since coming out of colts for North Clare, he's still only 18. I'd say North Eastern FL probably has the wood on PL as well.

Because I was only mentioning one recruit for each club yesterday and chose Marshy over Jack you think he's a dud......

And Tips labels me a know all.....

The PLFL has some great venues to play on surface wise. Centenary is the cream of EP football. Ravendale is improving (so it should all the money they have wasted on it) and Poole is immaculate. Wangary is always good. Mallee is the only scratchie surface.
The grounds in GFFL are ordinary to say the least.

are you talking Jay or Luke?

I would think most players would want to play for us with what we have to offer. How can Eyre United seriously compare with what we can offer a young footballer?

My tip for LS coach would be Snapper. Had good success with the 17's, many of whom are now playing A grade. Been around the club forever and knows how the place works. Shoe in.....

What do Bostons have to offer???? talk about full of shit

Michael Williams or Darren Groecke would be a better coach than Schnapper

When I was the the league rooms the other night Jarvis was coaching them. He would be the frontrunner.

yeah your right, the surfaces down here are great, and the surfaces up there are struggling.. congadulations you know how to use a sprinkler.. the ravendale set up is on of the worst setups ive seen.. you have more prtection from the wind at tin shed at kapinne. oh but you can go into the flash clubrooms and look into the sun or have rain on the window and you cant see anything anyway... ohh let me come back to lincoln footy now!!!!
