He's an absolute gun.

That is a terrible omission, you're right.

They were going to mention him, but his name creeped over into the space they have reserved for advertising, so they omitted it.

Maybe they could have found room near the back next to the "Dandy Warhols" plaing in Adelaide article, there wasn't any advertising justifying that piece of vital info ;)

You annoyed there wasn't a piece on Simon Le Bon?

Experienced first hand on the weekend the NEW Browns well side. Absolutley towelled us up, i think they will be the challenger to stop Lyrup going back to back this year. I have to query though, i was amazed at how many new faces they had. How does the points system work in independents surely they would have to be on the limit?

Watched the Demons take Barmera apart on Saturday by the lake to retain the Fisher Cup.
The Dees ruck combo of Sam Hirschi and Brad Dolling, both about 18 or under, were fantastic.
Kym Sampson should be in line for RFL interleague action the way he played as well.
Robbie Vagg was sneaky and smooth with three or four goals, great pickup for the Dees. Is he a former Under 18 premiership captain for the Roos?
I think Raeder, Vagg, Sampson, Jack Barker, Kirk Harwood, Martin Barber are all former Barmera juniors? Is that right? Any more?

Big questions for Roo supporters: Simon Peucker, if it is not delivered to him on a platter, does this guy ever take a contested grab or score a goal from general play?
Who picked best players? Michael Smart was named the Roos best, playing on Kirk Harwood, who kicked three goals and had 35 possessions from a wing. Mind you, don't think Harwood even got in the Demons best but I thought he was BOG, closely followed by Scholefield (27 touches, 4 goals and MOTY contender) and Safralidis, again very solid across half back. Darren Perry was clearly the best for the Roos. Perry oozes class IMO. Quality player.

Sampson is a freak. Should be in the interleague side for sure IMO.

We beat them by 25 goals the previous week.
Both sides had players out, but if Lyrup's beating us, I can hardly see how BW will challenge Lyrup.

Yes all them played junior footy at Barmera,Peucker has taken a few contested grabs this year and has scored a few goals in general play. Your spot on OS with Perry being best for Barmera and Harwood would be close to BOG,also Ridgway was impressive, done a job on young Tyson Linsday

It was my first look and Lindsay and that kid is very smooth. Ridgway did a good job on him but Tyson certainly has ability. There's a Berri junior. Lol

Interesting to hear that BG. I would have thought they would easily account for Lyrup if all their new recruits play, based on what i've seen this year. Maybe its time to jump on the Swannies band-wagon, Ham And Eggs For Breakfast everyone!!

Yeah I was surprised at how they weren't competitive last week too.
Obviously a big difference this week though.
They've got Lyrup this week so we might have a clearer picture of their progress after Saturday.

Good win by Berri on the weekend, they played very accountable footy and well and truly deserved the win! On the flip side that was easily the Roo's worst performance for the year (insert capt. obvious smilie) and even Marij Mick wasn't in full voice.

Q. Have there been an exodus from Cobby to the Berri B's?

Was thinking along the same line there BS as we did them by about 93 points. thought they were a much better side than last year but cant see them being a huge worry.
Unless they have new players since then or have just taken a while to get going as a team anyway.

Apparently Wunkar coach Rod Koch was searching the streets of Loxton on Saturday morning for players which wouldn't have helped the result.
Sounds like they're really struggling up at Wunkar at the moment.

Had the best steak sandwich of the season at the Lakeside on Saturday.
I've only Loxtons to try, but Barmera's are going to take some beating.
I saw BC have at least two.

I must admit I had a Barmera Banger & a steak sanga on Saturday :)
Carters supply our tasty bangers but Kelvin doesn't like to sell them over the counter at his butchers shop preferring to keep them for the footy!

Brown's Well had 15 new players in their side on Saturday who did not play for them in 2010.

2 are former BW juniors.
3 played more than 10 RMFL senior games in 2010
4 played between 2 and 6 RMFL senior games in 2010
1 played 16 Hills Country reserves games in 2010
1 played 3 senior games in a second tier NTFL competition in 2010
2 cleared in 2011 from the RMFL did not play any senior games in 2010
2 who played on Saturday do not appear on the Brown's Well sporting pulse player list or clearance list.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.
