Another great win by Brown's Well on the weekend. Finals bound? Big call but it would be pretty awesome for them.

And...Cobby, only two goals?????

Pretty even Indies comp. Ramco have some good players and if they stay in the bottom half,
will certainly cause a few upsets against top four teams.

Cobby were pretty ordinary on the weekend.
Having said that, they've got some good young kids there who have a lot of potential.
Just lack the leadership around them this year.
Hopefully some of the beltings they receive this year do not see them playing elsewhere next year.
Poor Darren Starkey played a lone hand up forward for Cobby.
Didn't have many other options though.
I didn't get a possession in the first half purely because the ball didn't come down our end.

Heard Moorook played their worst footy of the year against Ramco with a few exceptions.
Wouldn't expect the Warriors to play like that again.

Brown's Well's win is great for the competition!
We've got them this week and certainly won't be taking them lightly.

Completly agree SL, BG it is great for the league, I been saying it a bit so far this season that it will be the closest season for some time, anyone on their day can get up. I think it will make for a great year.

Really good win by the Barmera guys on saturday, at 3/4 time I thought Waikerie would be able to hold onto their 3 goal lead but surprisingly Waikerie just had no run left in the tank.
Good signs for the Roo's in the future with some U18's showing top form in the A's!

from my source I heard Waikerie lost key defended in first contest of the game with what looked to be serious knee injury and where down to 1 on the bench for the second half also. Barmera obviously had too much run for the last quarter and apparently waikerie wasted alot of opportunities in front of goal. Bit of spite in the seconds with a red card in first 5 minutes and 4 yellows after.

The question is, which of these young roo's will be around for the future ?

I can see Mason Middleton or Jake Schwertfeger playing A's for many years and it's really up to Tyson Lindsay if he wants to make a real go of it at Westies (down the track) cos he's definatley got the ability to be playing at a much higher level.

Mason would be one of the first taken by Westies, surely!

Big unit for his age, great skills, work ethic, pretty modest, ideal candidate for Westies I reckon.
Westies would be stupid not to take him down there. 8)

From what i have heard Mason is not keen on going to Westies,Jake is going to Uni next year and didn't Westies give Tyson the flick at the start of the year, i can see two them going to town to play footy but not for Westies

He will be playing AFL in the near future. If he doesn't want to go to town, he is throwing away something which he will regret for the rest of his life.

There's a bloke at Barmera perfectly placed to give him some good advice on this. Depending on which decision he makes, I can see their careers following similar paths.

I hear Lyrup have picked up a seven footer from Hackham.
He's playing C grade there.
Plays baseball with Dave Grenfell in Mldura and was driving from Pirie, to Hackham and then on to Mildura each weekend.
I guess the trip's a little shorter now...

How long since renmark and waikerie missed the finals in the same year?

Renmark been disappointing since round 2. I know they have had some injuries but their form is terrible.
