Interesting to see on the div 1 amateur thread Julian Wait may have applied for Seaton coaching job. If he gets it, will be interesting to see if he recruits his brother, and maybe Puckridge from Imps, although if they've already signed a contract for 08 i guess this wouldn't be possible..

Apparently GWW,Seaton approached Wait 2 see if interested, but he said he doesn't feel as tho he's ready 2 coach.
He may have changed his mind of late, realising his body's taken a pounding & he could get the same $$$ coaching,2 what he'd get playing.
Seaton's B grade coach got the job,yet you never know,he could of chucked it in as quick as he got it,as they havn't recruited anyone & he knows he'd struggle 2 recruit any decent (name) players.
I'll keep you posted if i hear any more.
He's not a ruckman either,he,s more of a wingman.

B Martin picked up by the Crows 4th round of the rookie draft, i presume thats Brodie Martin from Meningie (and Sturt under 19's), great effort by the young lad.

With Denty getting fit, sound like he'll be playing another year (turns 36 next year i think). With his improved fitness levels it may help him avoid the types of injuries he suffered this year.

I'm personally looking forward to the Eagles having a bit more depth next year. Last year was a terrible year but the games played by the kids in 07 will be a positive for next year and beyond. Also with Tailem likely to improve and Imps and Ramblers possibly coming back to the field a bit, next year could be one of the most even RMFL seasons in a long time.

have also heard that fiegert has left mypo and is playing under his father in law at peake. may also be taking a few with him- scott jolly and maybe another?? both played a grade on and off in 07 for mypo but niether were standouts in the A's. i remember when jolly first came out of 17's he showed a lot of promise but then i think he discovered beer and realised that football training isnt that exciting. fair to say he stacked on the kg's and started to struggle on saturdays.
they will both go reasonably well in the mallee league though. and getting a bit of cash for football would be the major drawcard for both of em im sure.

havnt heard any other goss about sayers but will be interesting to see. surely peake wouldnt be able to afford him.

and tailem would have to be very active with their recruiting wouldnt they?? they have got a fair way to go up the ladder.
dunno if denty has to many good games left in him does he.... all he seemed to want to do this year, when he was playing, was fight?

I've heard he's going up there to have a look at things, but last he said he will most likely be back at the Bluds next season.

Is there a fixture out yet for the league? If not, when do they normally bring it out? I had heard that the first months schedule has already been penciled in.

havnt heard of one out yet but you would imagine they would have it pretty much done by now. i remember seeing a draft copy before christmas last year. maybe the presidents etc might have a copy of it. would probably be next year when they get the proper ones printed up though?

Why are you after a fixture so early P32? Looking to see games where you might be able to get a little bonus?

Early? It's mid December! And yes, will try to fit a couple of extra games in on those weekends under the alias Peter "Spider" Everitt...

s m skinner & co,i wouldn't be worried about Jervois.
They will get a full year out of Chris Braun, after only a handfull of games last year, due 2 his knee recon.
His brother Steve will be back after recovering from his broken ankle & theres a fair chance they will be seeing Kieren (killer) Hill back fron Sturt, along with the fact,i know Liquid Gold (AKA SAM MAHONEY) is talking 2 atleast 3 blokes over 6.4" & 100kgs,2 add 2 his premiership team.
They can all play football!
I wouldn't write Dane Lawry of either as a possible return late in the season.
The only hichup for Jervois, will be if one of the R.M.F.L Commitee Members, try's 2 unsettle the Bluds as he's done in the past,ie(Feltus incident & yelling abuse 2 players from over the fence).

You know what I mean, you will be pencilling in the games where you think you will get best on and the games you think you should win easy.

Have it on good authority that Matt Sayers and three players from Mypo signed for Peake last night...
