I'd hate to be your boss ha ha ha

Good to hear some passion from a female supporter though, it's what alot of clubs need.

Thanks Rodney O:)

Just as well I'm mostly my own boss then hey

Must admit that while passionate and have the club at  I am a little 'shyer' in 'real life' ... must pent it all up for you guys on here

Sorry about that!!

Nothing wrong with that, everyone has passion for their club and show it in different ways. Nothing wrong with doing it on a public forum I'd say good work.

All these coaching rumours must be exciting, I know of a few that have applied and if any of them got it you would be very happy to say the least. Good Luck.

Can I just add to my 'rant' above.... :D (And appologise in advance)

Clubs have to have fun in them too.

Lots of fun and good humour behind the scenes as well as within a team, helps people get along better O:)

There has to be a good balance... so to bring that success you need development, seriousness and FUN ... lots and lots of fun :D

Everyone needs to have a good laugh every now and then !!

Mum can you please tell your fans just exactly you know about football please?????? as i am pretty sure your only place as you state "is in the kitchen" .
I /we do expect you are not all who you seem, which makes sense due to the fact there is not to many people down your way that know to much about football, let alone developing your juniors. Can you please ask around your club and find a answer WHY your juniors are under achieving seniors, please dont get me to wrong we all need a good Mclaren in the comp, but geewizz "where the bloody hell are they"?

What is your problem Leon McDonald

Is it that I am female or that I am a McLaren supporter !!

Geeze...nothing like being in the school playground at lunch time - I think you might need to grow up a little bit

Who is I/we who expect I am not all that I seem. I didn't realise I was so important to you that you had to study me... and such concern for the people at our football club and the juniors

Forgive me for being a loyal/passionate/positive supporter of my club... and if I want to post on here I will... bully tactics or not.

Let's hope you're a little less grumpy tomorrow :bear:

I'm not sure personal attacks is what this forum needs. "A Mum" brings a lot to this site, and if people don't like what she has to say then they don't have to read it. I like a lot of others, enjoy whats she's brought to SA Footy.

leon so what if mums place is in the kitchen, if she enjoys helping or doing anything at the footy club, i say thanks to her and all the other people who help out, so that we the players have a club to actually play for, and unfortunately for you and some others on this site everyone is entilted to an opinion, and to express it, i dont think mum claims to know a lot about footy but if wasn't for people like her football clubs would not survive, so good on you mum =D>

our development of juniors into quality a graders has not been our biggest problem although it is a problem which has been worked on this year with a mentor program set up and some seniors training with juniors and vice versa, recruiting players has been, i think with 4 or 5 recruits to assist with the players we have got we will not be as bad as everyone thinks, we have not recruited well over the last 4 or 5 years, as this is what in my opinion has hurt us more, as every club loses juniors as they turn into seniors, if you have 8 juniors go up to seniors in the one year, it is highly unlikely all of them will play a grade. no disrespect meant to jags as he is a great bloke and has been a champion player at the club but in my opinion we have been tactically poorly coached this year.
also leon since we joined the gsfl in 2001 we have won a flag in every grade and yes most of them are juniors but we have won a grade and b grade flag as well i think you'll find there are only two other clubs to win a and b grade flags in this time, langhorne creek and willunga, and only 1 other to win in all grades willunga so before you and some others continue your mclaren bashing ask yourself bout how well some of the other clubs are doing
who ever thought of the saying winning isn't everything, probably lost!!

Well said HFTB.

And thankyou...lol... I do know a little bit about football  but yes I'm no coach or anything and will be the first to admit it !! :D and yes I am probably very well suited in the kitchen

On a serious note...
When you think about the 'facts' that you just noted re the premierships.....mmm... I'm impressed !!

We actually haven't done that bad considering.
