i reckon it would have been 2008. out there maybe 07?
they had a fair few kids running around and even butch koch having a crack, old fella hasnt lost a thing!

also on the match, bob vogt umpired his first senior game in along time with jeff hayes. both blokes in my opinion did a great job and made it a very enjoyable game to play sharing a few jokes here and there with the blokes

Good to hear.
We had Steven Scott and Warren Couzens. They made a few small blunders, but on the whole did a pretty good job. Especially in the tough conditions.

I did enjoy my run with the Beetles! Good win!
Was feeling my lack of fitness in the last quarter.
Not too sure about those changeroom antics.
I did hear that Inkster booted six goals on the weekend?

Inkster played out of a forward pocket all game kicked 6 goals, very strong body and kicks straight. Pete Smith & Jessie Smith looked a fair bit under done and will get better with more games under thier belt. think Brett Manual may have hurt a shoulder pretty bad

That'd be the same shoulder he hurt during their pre-season camp I'd reckon.

Berri v Bar Mon - These are always intense struggles, the inclusion of Jennings & Hankin give Berri a more potent forward set up, might be offset by the possible inclusion of Bonney for the Roos.Close one.
Loxton v Lxtn Nth - an excellent build to this game, North would rate themselves here, Tigers might pack a few too guns tho.
Renmark v Waikerie - If Bennett & Pedlar line up for the Rovers they will push the Maggies for a while but I cant see them sustaining it for 4 qtrs.
suicide note - "I had plenty of food & water but all I had to listen to on this desert island was Bruno Mars - Goodbye"

After Renmarks result on Saturday there looks like 5 teams that can win it. Most even its been for years. I think Berri will struggle a bit but Loxton North have improved a lot, Loxton will be around the mark, Barmera are the front runner and Renmark and Waikerie are very similar.

Anyone heard how serious Damien Stevens leg injury is? It didn't look good as he couldn't stand up and he went off on a stretcher.

DW

Is it confirmed that a book will be published for the Independents' 40th anniversary? If so, do you know how big and how much it is?

Saw big Tits on the weekend and judging by the way he was walking, err hobbling, he will be a long way off from playing for Wunkar this season.

Loxton North was pretty happy with its win on the weekend, obviously.
Interesting to hear former Tigers coach Mick Zerna say on 5RM at about half time that Loxton were looking unfit.

You know Tits though, wouldn't be suprised if he made a comeback before mid season!

I think it's going to come down to who can cover any injuries to key players during the year
