By coaching TRR has given up a very promising umpiring career,.... I know Mal Harris had an eye on him making it to SANFL level.....

WCP's early 2008 ladder prediction

Marble Range - will almost need a miracle for them not to go back to back.
Mallee Park - just always around the mark
Bostons - Recruited soundly with only a couple of major losses.
Waybacks - Big losses in Dunc, TK, & Horgs but will have recruits up their sleeve no doubt
Tasmans - loss of DuBois & Vonow will hurt big time. Haven't heard much on the ins dept.
Souths - loss of Crouch is major. Dunn is a good in but they were a fair way off in 2007.

Really have no idea obviously, but give the trolls something to talk about I suppose....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Panther, early days yet but believe that we have TK and Horgs more than covered but Dunc is an entirely different matter. The two big outs for us will be Fev and Dunc and (FF and CHB) they are two of the hardest positions to cover.

What happened to Vonow and Dubois?

Fairly sure Vonow left straight after season and heard recently DuBois wasn't around either. Someone from Tasmans confirm. Not RR.......

Minya to cover Horgs. Who is the new ruckman? Come on Bluesy, it is a forum.....

You've gotta be f###ing kidding me?
The only surety for me is that LS will finish last, unless Tasmans have the number of injuries they had last year.

Or the same amount of excuses, or the same lack of heart, pride in the guernsey, and overall talent.

Why Waybacks over Rangers SS. If anything Rangers will be stronger again with the new forward they have......

IMHO, it takes a fair bit of heart, as well as pride in your guernsey, to keep coming back week after week when you're side is getting flogged week in week out.

My mail is that the new FF is no certainty of being here....only what I have heard but got from 2 different (reliable) sources. MS real chance of going to ports?

Having said that, I would not be trying to talk down Rangers chances...still very much the team to beat.

I will be very interested in hom mallees line up this year. Michael Burgoyne is back but if wes leaves that will create a huge hole. Is young Wanganeen going to Adelaide??

Just think Waybacks are a club who always are around the mark, whether they have a good list or not, like their consistency and other than Mallee Park, i reckon they'll challenge them in most areas on the Park.
Find a way.
It's a bit of wishful thinking, like backing the underdog.
And hating tasmans.
Shapes the ladder.
The tigers are still a good enough side for finals, just think they're missing that killer instinct that the above clubs have.

Having played my entire football life at a club that, results wise, has quite frankly been s##t up until last season, I find that there can be more reasons...

I have noted in the last few years that when they have had injuries through the year and the side has not been at it's strongest, the white flag goes up very quickly. If they aren't confident, they've copped some big floggings.

2005, last round when MR met Waybacks they had a few out, Rangers won by over 10 goals. Prelim with full side, beat Rangers by 10 goals.

2006, at Ravendale with poor side MR kicked about 25 goals to 2 I think it was. MR only won GF by about 11 points with their full side.

Nope, I'll disagree and say that Waybacks can be a tad front runnerish......a few players shouldn't be enough for 20 goal turn arounds IMO.

Thoughts Bluesy.....
