i personaly have seen the video of the vidic bump watched it many times over fast and full pace and i was a clear elbow to the head not a bump and it was off the ball! infact he didnt even look and going for the ball! he was lucky to only get one week!

and from wat ive heard vidic was the same the week b4 throwin cheap shots off the ball against hahndorf! thats ok one day hell b on the recieving end and will know what its like to go to hospital and be told u have to leave a neck brace on! not a good feeling id imagine! and also not wat footy is about! hard at the ball yes love it dirty cheap shots tho not footy cricket lad!

u gotta b kidding mate. his elbow wasnt out or raised during the hit, but came up after. and the ball was within 5meters as he was laying a sheppered. u obviosuly dont mind staniford running round hitting under the packs though do ya. or number 31 hitting mclean in the head.

Im with you on this one Cricket Lad. I saw the Vidic bump and it was as fair as you can get, just a good sheppard. Staniford was targeting all the younger lads in the Uraidla team throwing many cheap punches when backs were turned. Vidics hit was fair and within 5 metres of the ball.
I just wonder how he got 1 week when the umpire on the field didnt report it, very poor by bridgewater i say

Anyone from bridgy want to comment on why their club is reporting a Uraidla player for a bump on Staniford this wkend when the feild umpires decided against making a report?

agreed. absolutly brilliant bump from vidic. umpire was right there and didnt even give a free kick. i think it was a very hard hit which just got him in the wrong spot and obviously got hurt. some of th bridgy people werent happy with it yet there was no yelling at the bridgy bloke who smacked kane mclean in the head.

wat was mclean doind to get punched in the head! throwing elbows and cheap shots at the bloke that hit him! he deserved it! hes another dirty player!

i didnt seen or hear of any cheap shots thrown by stano so i cant comment on that like u guys have but i did she the ellbow (so called bump) and had the luxury of seein it in slow motion and it was a clear elbow and he was never even going for the ball! he had one intention and that was to take out stano! wether that was caus he was throwin cheap shots i duno but stanos only 18 vidics wat 28? how old were ur young guys that stano was so called picking on? 18 aswell?

Absolute bull shit mate Kane goes hard at the ball and the only time he gets involved in that shit is if some one gets stuck into him or his team mates. And for the record i dont think the bloke that did belt him could have run to the bench any faster after he did it, the bloke had shit running down his legs

and he did get reported by an umpire that was watching the game mate! so b4 u go putting it on bridgewater get ya facts right! all they did was present wat info they had which just happened to include the video which couldnt be used due to the fact that the report had been made by the umpire!

Yer i know he was reported by an umpire, but he had his facts wrong coz he said that vidic threw a closed fist which im pretty sure wouldnt show up in your video coz u havent mentioned it. He should never have been suspended! Vidic also got suspended on a different charge than he was reported for, so I think they just wanted him out not actually relying on the facts.

mabye he got reported wen he got the first yellow card for the attempted spoil that hit jack johnson in the stomach? the blokes clearly got issues and shouldnt be playing! especially as it was the second week in a row he been involved in incidents like it! definatly didnt punch stano it was an elbow!
