Jamie O'Callaghan playing with Ramco this season, ex Morgan player. Will go a long way to covering Nigel Hole. Played on them both and dont think i could really split the 2 other than Jamie probably more athletic

Twinners is returning! The big fella, one of the best blokes I've met in my time playing footy.
Kenny Wright is also going to play, as will John Pilla.
All handy acquisitions.

Three very good pick ups for Moorook, looks like one C.Marks is going to have his hands full trying to get a Barmera Monash second side on the park this season as i heard there are also another three players who are very capable footballers are not going to be around this season ;)

Would have like to see John Pilla have a run through the centre last season and Kenny will provide plenty of drive from the square, the big fella could easily hold down a key defense or forward position. Who knows who else they may pickup!

Just a quick question from some-one outside the league. I am on holiday at Renmark over Easter and have heard that there is an Anzac game being played this season. Where is it and who is playing in this game??

Bertie, is that a hint of a return? Could Bertie be a Beetle again?

I heard Berri were trying to get Pilla to play for them, must be a handy player.

Anyone going to watch the North v Berri trial tomorrow night?

will be a very handy pickup dogwatcher, very cool player who reads the play extremely well and can play very tall considering his height!

Under lights at Loxton North last night the Panthers finished victors against Berri 10.7 (67) to 8.2 (50).
Berri was almost at full strength missing a few key players such as Saf, Scholefield, Harwood,
Langdon and Barber.
Loxton North had three quarters of its A grade team out there, missing the likes of Tim Arnold, Justin Proud, Geordie Franks,
Josh Voigt, Tim Roberts, Daniel Cass, the Vowles boys and Blake Hentschke.
However, it was a good hit out, North led for most of the match before Berri kicked four goals in the third to
get within 5 points at three quarter time.
North played with a lot of run and handball from half back, while Berri generally went long and direct through the middle.
Beauchamp was good and Stone played well.
For North, the big men were promising with Ben Miller's return strong and Wunkar recruit Nathan Brown was quick up forward
and added some real spark.
Overall, both sides looked evenly matched with each playing some juniors.

Les Pearson will be sorely missed I hear.
He would have also enjoyed the delicious schnitzels at the club after.

Known for enjoying schnitzels. If there was an award for it, probably would have gotten runner up best and fairest, behind Dustin Fromm (below).

This is what I had for lunch today lads. I'm absolutely **** now! cost me $43.30. Only just got there. It was basically 4 chicken schnitzels. 2 parmis and 2 with gravy. I would love a sleep and liposuction right about now

Almost at full strength yet missing arguably the team's 5 best players? Lol. Come on man!
And Nathan Geyer was out too. The tank.
If you put those six in, against your six or seven you've quoted as outs, I would be interested to see what the score would have been.
Guess we'll find out round 1!!! Why didn't Franks play?

I take it you have no aspirations of working as a sports journalist for the Advertiser, especially with ridiculous comments such as that

Yeah fair call OnSong.
Fair chunk of the midfield missing, which would make a difference.
But let's be honest, Berri still had three quarters of its A grade team out there.
It just happens to be that the other quarter that were not playing are pretty handy players.
North was also missing some key players though, Tim Arnold the main one. Absolute gun.
Round one is going to be a cracker of a game I reckon.
Franks was away working or just hiding scared
because he didn't want to play against his old club haha!
