Don't knock the Western Oval...far better surface.

PLFL voting tonite to decide if games to be played at Ravendale this year. An impasse over admission fees has risen its head.

Was stiffy bowling quick on the wend? Whats the go with hully wcp?
Should be a big game of cricket this weekend against souths and charlton leading up to finals! I know souths are coming into full strength and i hear charlton are light on till finals but its about this time of year that it gets a bit hot in the kitchen for the charlton boys! At least the white tea towel would be close to hand to use as a flag! 8)
Had a couple of my mates just outa junior footy say they have been offered good deals by a couple of underachieving GF sides. Maybe a couple of the regular posted might be able to add more?

well by say underachieveing i presume comin bottom last year puts EU amongst that statement!! footballers just coming outa juniors. nah thats not us, weve been after players with a few years under thier belt

far better surface??? think you better pull your head out of the ground and have a good look!!!! whats the view like from WFC front windows. The PLFL have to have some leniency to ravendale as we share the ground, why cant they understand that?

Because the Western Oval was in actual fact a football ground originally, it has a natural fall on it to run water away. Sadly, with the kirbing on the netball side, the water is actually trapped in the botom pocket. Else where on the ground, the surface is pretty good and water drains OK. The same cannot be said for the Easter Oval. A flat expanse of grass and sand, where water stays where it falls. We can also park cars around 70% of our oval.
Have a look at centenary for a fine piece of oval design. A gradient fall for run off, facilities designed to shelter the prevailing weather, parking around the oval...just add a grand stand and you have the perfect recipe.

What qualifies EU to be considered underachievers???

What have they achieved?

Ravendale still needs a little work and with the EP Sports Academy based there now we have been granted another $50,000 to upgrade the surface.

Yeah, ask Brian Fiegert about the EU recruits he found hiding in his back paddock, casing his house after they had stolen a MV etc etc....... All after lending them money of course.

Careful Tips, glass houses buddy....

Those people you are refering to formed the charater of tigerland and I would like to see how you go stepping foot into the clubrooms next time after these stupid comments.
Dont take any notice wcp easy to run away and play in an easier comp and not have to play us.
