[quote="jingles"]NEWS FLASH - Big Benny Warren is on his way back home!!!!!

COULD BE THE BEST FORWARD COMBINATION EVER IN THE GSFL! PROBABLY THESE 2 WOULD GET THE NOD OVER PAST COMBINATIONS SUCH AS GIBBS AND SHEIL, MODS AND ROLFE, THOMPSON AND BULL. A TOUGH CALL THOUGH.

They will be dominate, but they are human. Dont forget that Modra won a Coleman and he was stoppable (every now and then)

It may take more than a Ben Warren back to help the creek , after losing 2 grand finals in a row the mental state of losing them may take its toll again . Simmo will have his own scars too after such a dominant year but to fall short again

Jackpot Jim states that King WONT be at the Creek in 08 in one of the SANFL forums, heading back to Victoria. He normally has his finger on the pulse with Creek news. Would be a big loss. One of the best to have played in the GSFL I would have thought!

BT and Hams for mine S&W.
Had to work hard for there goals with the guys kicking it into them. Tumble punts and floaters comin from everywhere. Wont be such an issue with a certain player heading to the Back Pocket!

I have heard the same thing. Kingy is going home at Christmas for a carpenter apprenticeship.

Can anyone confirm if any Morphette Vale players are heading to Willunga?

If there are morphetvale players they will only be able to get 4 under the new points system. Why would you leave?

Havent heard of any Morphies boys leaving. Only one i have ever heard of possibly going to Willunga was Jason Gaskin and i think that was a couple of seasons ago. As far as i'm aware all A's have had player meetings and there hasnt been any talk of anyone moving on. Pretty sure everyone at the emus are pretty keen to have a crack at 5 in a row.

Hey BJ just backed a dog in New Zealand called Benny Baxter. Have Willunga Football Club diversified in to greyhounds.

LF the problem with anyone named that is they lose the plot from time to time.
If he gets out in front he will turn around to try and fend an opposing dog, not unlike our Benny Baxter who when gets out in front of the opposition, turns, fends the already beaten opponent and heads off on another run!

Is it a Ginger coloured Hound?

It was an absolute certainty, until it lost. Maybe the Creek boys know of it. Anyway it will be one to follow!

"have it on good oil that Golding is staying at Towns with coach , must be worht a bit as he knocked back 700 + in GSFL" (from Div 1 Forum)

When will clubs realise that premierships and success arent built on buying players for astronomical amounts of money. It just doesnt work and it wont work. Points system or not if a guy needs that much money to play for a club, hes not worth it anyway.

This is where the points system will take player payments tho as guys know that they are going to be able to push there price up due to points availability.

Exaclty right. A forward is only as good as the mid-field supplying him. King only kicked one goal in the GF and his opponent was BOG.
