Looks set to be one of the most evenly fought finals series in a number of years in Great Flinders footy, with Cougars obviously the stand outs at the minute, Yeelanna certainly a damaging side on their day, Ramblers beginning to make their charge to yet another finals campaign, and the Blues allthough struggling, a far better side than their season so far suggests. Some big signings for Tumby in the last week, with former state country player Johnny Southern returning to the club, along with Andrew Fleming returning from captaining SGL club Ports to a premiership, and Darren Tapper from Victoria who can apparently play a bit.
All in all makes for a healthy competition, and sets up what should be an interesting finals series .........

MB what was the letter to the editor about today in the local paper. Who was involved in that incident and what is the real story?

Not sure what happened there? Match was between EU and Cougars, and I've only heard one side of the story from some of the Ungarra folk. The mail is that it wasn't a great incident, but as I said, I've only heard one side of the story. Given the injuries suffered though, probably indicates there was some sort of contact ...... DJD may be able to comment further???

Why can't people on here just bloody comment!!

Roger Puckridge twice belted Sam Telfer with resulting injuries as stated in the paper. Comment from a Cougars person was that it was fairly unsavoury.

Not hard to do is it??? Not claiming it is gospel but that's what I got told. Just post what you hear people, spice this joint up!!!

KWF, you seem to have some goss?? Post it, crap site if all we get is people saying they know something but won't put it up.

Rant over....

Someone Pm'd me yesterday, and I only just had the chance to read the paper....

Bluey- you are useless. Seriously.

The Kinlough write-ups were nothing you couldn't gather from either the best players or goal kickers.

If that's as good as you can find, I write a good spiel... ;)

I agree. There is nothing wrong with posting what you hear.

I think most people are pretty dissapointed in what Roger did. He must have hated someone manning him up as he sluts out behind the play

Ravendale are not to happy with Wanderah's for going to a local football club for their annual dinner/ball soon when the complex has nothing on that night. Have you heard anything Ken or barksoff?

If Bostons spent the dollars that was wasted on the RCC, Poole Oval would bloody well house Buckingham Palace... 8)
