panther, by my calculations the count for the last 20 years is WFC 2 / BFC 0. Suggest you learn a bit of the history of your new club before you burst into print....FFS

The no silverware certainly can't come into it, just when it was all won.

Easy - just recruit people with the name of Koch, Pedler, Blacker etc etc and you'll get 15 (?) of them straight.

Clearly I was referring to the 2-0 lead if Waybacks...
But why not aim for 15 consecutive flags....
If you only got half of that, you'd have failed in your goal,
but you'd still be extremely happy?

I think saquatch is getting a little carried away but we will pass the demons in the next 5 years.
And dermie I played for years with Shanno'd father and am good drinking mates with Gary Turnball, you would not know as much as me.

Clearly a comment from a complete fool. How can you get 7.5 flags?
Bostons have had one year where they finished fourth and now they are talking about aiming for 15 consecutive flags but will be happy with 7.5. Oh my god!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Serious question now, and I have only been stirring with my previous efforts and do have total respect for the insurpassable record Waybacks do have.

Q. Of the 32 (?) flags won, how many were in a three team comp and in some of those years was there two Wayback teams. I seem to remember hearing this, maybe totally incorrect???

Not trying to detract from the achievements, as even since WW2 the record of 20 flags has Waybacks way out in front with no one coming close, damn it.... :(
