Can you get out of contracts if you were promised things that weren't delivered?

Like the work I found for him that he didn't want Grub? Want, want, want, take, take, take.......Be careful LS, very careful...

and legally, the only thing in writing is his contract..... 8)

Only if it is noted in the contract. And contracts are only valid if they are lodged with the PLFL. Bottom line is tho, if they don't want to play for you then you can't make them.
By the tone of your post panther, would suggest you are resigned to losing him.

On a demon note, great nite at the club Friday. Excellent roll up to farewell Dunc, Jeff and Chrissy. Good to see so many players and recruits there...

Re: Port Lincoln Races - Handicapping

Postby bluestheboy » Tue Jan 22, 2008 3:19 pm

Hey grub, need to tap into your racing knowledge. Is the current handicapping system performance based, or potential based?
BP finished 7th last start but maintains the same weight and rating. Naloora Belle was 4th and drops .5, Cardiac 6th down 1.0, Mrs Spudley third - same weight. Minimums still the same..WTF do they handicap on HD's race call?

You can stop them playing for others though, unless you get what you want..... 8)

I only asked a question WCP..... I wasnt refering to anyone....

As far as my knowledge btb the rating system is based on previous wins..... as horses that havent won dont have a rating.... not sure if the handicapper takes any notice of the ratings?????

grub..obviously is ratings based in this case, but I cannot believe that we can finish behind horses last start and have to give them weight this week...no use ringing the handicapper...only get more weight next one.
