Sounds like my days in Colts... We were regularly bowled out for under 50, and we always had one bloke constantly saying "C'mon boys, we're still in this."
Same bloke was guilty of saying "He's (the batsman) been here too long" as the opening batsman went to take strike of the first ball!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Can I just ask, what sort of coach would put so much unnecessary pressure on his side by declaring his team would not lose a game in the new year. FFS Rock.....

SES $1.60
CH $4
LS $5 - $4
TR $21

MVP
Spruce Yancic $1.80

Probably the best display of hitting I've ever seen yesterday - Toddy Coombe 154 vs Souths off probably no more than 90 balls - 20 x 4's and 8 x 6's. 113 run opening partnership with Dusty who scored 15! Reidy also scored a ton for Souths.

All that can be said about our A Grade is that no-one hit a ton against us.
It would've been difficult, since we were bowled out for 62.
Fritz Miller too 6/18.

League programming meeting this Tuesday so will know a bit more then. I believe there is a bit of a stand off between the PLFL and Ravendale/Netball over ticket prices for 2008. May not be our decision.

I can not believe some dead beat people in this town. You use to be able to walk the streets of Port Lincoln at night and not worry about getting your head kicked in by a group of 12 to 13 people. For what, a few dollars left over from there night out at the pub. I have had enough of hearing people that i know getting put in hospital by these stupid good for nothing low life dick heads. People need to stand up to these individuals and make them accountable for there actions some one is going to get killed. i heard of 13 people this weekend getting beat up. forgive me for spelling mistakes i am just really angry that people do this!!!

The court system is where we have got it wrong, it is a complete joke.... that offenders get off with a slap on the wrist continually.
The police have done a reasonable job of late and are making an effort to clean up the streets.....
I can see it coming to a head when enough people get pissed off and form a big group and take the law into their own hands and go down there and do something about it.....
Seriously my advice, have a good night out..... organize a lift home at end of night or wait patiently for a cab.... avoid eating crap food and walking the streets.....
These troublemakers are only confident in groups and that is when they get chirpy and confident..... on their own they dont say boo.....WAP
