Hahndorf won by 14 points. I can't see them winning a GF with this sort of form. PRETENDERS!

hahaha, good call Silky, your predictions are right on the money, aren’t they!.....Handrof were lucky to escape with the win. They won’t get close to winning the flag........... now THAT is a prediction you can bet your money on. Enough of your outrageous calls Silky, your far off.

Going on this weeks results I'm thinking all the talk of a two horse race for the flag between Lofty and Hahndorf has been blown out of the water. Its more like 7 teams who could challenge. And i know people will probably call my crazy by putting Birdwood as a challenger, well I think you just have to look at the scorelines, if Hahndorf are as good as everyone on this forum has been saying and Birdwood are only 2 goals behind them then they'll be a big threat this year, which is great for Hills footy IMO.

I hear on the grapevine that a small bald stumpy fella for Ironbank B grade had a stinker on the weekend. Not suprised, what do you expect to do when you have two penis's as legs. Maybe rub them a bit Gus they might harden up and allow you to be more competitive.
Haha good stuff & the crows lost - dam great stuff

Just a question for any of the Lofty people on here..
Brendon Ward, new player to the club.
Heard he played well yesterday and had a few possies in the 2's..close to an A grade game?
Having played with him i know he turn it on when he needs too, just wondering when he might possibly snag a game?
Good bloke to have around the club.

Good to see the Raiders get a win on the board. Did the Bridgy B's get up as well?

Certainly never would have expected Onka's to get that close to Lofty and looks like there's a bit of rebuilding to do at Ironbank post X factor.

Credit to Birdwood for having faith in their Div 1 plan as they would have known the first few years were going to be extremely tough and I think on paper most would have thought Hahndorf would win by at least 10 goals.

Surprised to see that Manno bloke kicked four for Ironbank on the weekend. Last year he played in the B's against us and did absolutely sweet FA besides belt me around the head a few times (which i may possibly have deserved).

Onkas shouldve beaten Loft yesterday. They missed 3 or 4 very easy set shots and gave away a couple of stupid 50's that cost them a couple of goals.
In the second half Onkas were well on top, when Smith went into ruck in the 3rd quarter, he, Klun and Tanner won almost every centre clearence, Onkas just didn't quite have the firepower up forward to kick enough goals with Westcombe and Smith out and Shee playing at Full Back.

this is the most correct post ive ever seen... birdwood are not a bad team, they are getting every bit of ability out of every player... hahndorf didnt play that well, and should have won by 8 goals... a few factors that didnt help were they didnt have a coach for the day as he was away and cooper had to coach, which isnt ideal when hes playing... i was a little worried about how they played, i think playing 4 talls in forward line DOES NOT work. there are also a few players to come back in also, bartemucci was impressive, and was BOG by the length of the straight, not 1 word of a lie he would have got 30 kicks and about 15 hanballs and about tackles which were all HTB.

birdwood will beat a few big teams this year. and with lofty only beating onkas by a couple goals its a bit rich to be saying how hahndy wont win the flag but lofty arent really setting it alight!

I think we'll all have a better indication of where Birdwood are at after next weeks game vs. Bridgewater.

I see the Raiders comfortably beat Ironbank yesterday. With the large number of new players at each club it will take some time for both Bridgy and Birdwood to gel.

I can see both clubs causing a few upsets this year.
