Waikerie would have done fairly well out of hosting the GF,but unlike Renmark who had the council fund a large proportion of their changerooms(as they should). The tight ass Loxton/Waikerie council only gave some inkind labour to Waikerie`s new changerooms. So I would say a fair proportion of the profits will go towards upgrades of facilities, which is why the finals must continue to be rotated to all the towns.

Government grant that the council organised for Renmark I reckon.

All the heat on Berri I reckon. Barmera have recruited big but havn't said much all year. Questions over Berri are:

1 Can they keep the history of centenary teams winning going. Might be third time unlucky? NO NOT THIRD TIME UNLUCKY
2 Will Pumpa get red carded - like to see someone offer some odds on that, OxNFox? NO DID NOT HAPPEN

3 How much do Rockin Rod and Pumpa get on? Yellow or Red will will see an implosion I reckon. It happened against Renmark in a game that didn't count. DID NOT HAPPEN ARM IN ARM AFTER GAME THINK ROD AND PUMPA GET ON WELL

4 Will Rod shake the opposition coaches hand, after the game, in his usual smug manner if they get beaten? SHOOK HANDS NOT IN A SMUG WAY BUT IN A RESPECT WAY

Slapsy you must be a Barmera follower everything you posted pre game did not happen same as your team did not happen

I think all the other premiership teams have their photos in the paper, plus there's action pics from each grade.

Travis Wilson, 4 games suspension for headbutting.
What a crock of shit!
Phil O'Loughlin got 8 weeks for the same incident earlier in the year.
I can think of a handful of riverland footballers that would have gotten a greater punishment for the same offence.

Phil only got 4. Wasn't there to see Wilsons but Phil smashed the poor bastard from Berri. 1st game back was against Berri the following round.

SH - first to put my hand up to say I was wrong. I had a crack though you must admit! Didn't see any of your pre game predictions here anywhere though? Congratulations to Berri - they have what my team doesn't and thats the flag. You were also right about my team not getting anything happening but I am far from a Barmera supporter - just having a stir like happenend to my team last year in the week before the finals. Rod is still a tosser - allbeait a premiership coaching one.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone tonight at the presentation night and celebrating the 6 day Preemiership reunion. Going to be a big night me thinks.
