haha so the drama's go on at maclaren again for the bays. Vision will love this! can someone from Mclaren tell me who that 7foot d&^K head in the black trench coat who seems to enter the ground and cause trouble every time we play there is? He apparently is on the Mclaren Committe and attends the delegates meetings? He should be banned from the league, ground and returned to his nutjob home. no spectator should be allowed to enter a venue argue with opposition players, coaches and umpires (especially after consuming alcohol all day) before the players have even left the ground. There is a safety issue at Mclaren vale with spectators getting to close to players as they leave the ground and also the home and opposition change rooms being joined to the same race is crap.

I can safely say if this was happening at the bays this guy would be banished from the club?? what does everyone else think?

Credit to some of the younger kids though at Mclaren Vale atleast some of them didnt get caught up in the bitching and winging like most of their teams mates and played some good footy.

cuzzy , your a fool.
encounter bay player , headbutting after the final siren , number eight throwing cheap shots all day and swinging very bad punches against other players that obviously did not want to fight or carry on. Embarrising to watch them after they had jsut played a very good game of football
The mclaren players were told to stay and shake hands with the decent bay boys and ignore the idiots trying to carry on.
It was good to see the coach and some of the players shaking hands with geniune smiles on their faces.
As for the Yetti he was escorting the umpires off the field as each home teeam is supposed to do. He was not arguing or carrying on this time.
He got a very harsh speaking after last years efforts and has kept in line since.
If you want to try and make a point about something get the facts right and speak the truth dont come on here and constantly talk rubbish.

[Very interesting cuzzy,I think we know who you are refering to. No doubt he has a big mouth and looks for an arguement, not caring if its male or female young or old who he verbally attacks. Should make for interesting debate as this big yobbo is never short of a comment

geez, cuzzy you should write a soap opera mate, you guys are the only ones we seem to have any trouble with, and as for the players race ive played there 10 years and never had a problem but well done to your a grade they were too good for us, as for rices 35 metre rushed behind in the 2's i have never seen anything like it quite funny i thought, i figure he must of known what he was doing as he was in defence all day. the tall bloke in the trench coat is an associate of the yetti so you might wanna speak to him. i left just before the end of the game so cannot comment on what happened after the siren, but all i do know is mitchell to his credit told one of our coaches to clear our people out and he will clear the bays blokes out, which they did.

I don't know what game you were watching cuzzy... I think some of your mates in the Bays A grade need to learn to be a humble winner. What happened to sportsmanship?? I am not saying all of the Bays players but a certain few. Number 8 was disgraceful, I think I counted around 20 cheap shots behind play from him and I only watch half the game.

Also a Bays player wearing a helmet headbutted a under 17's player while he was trying to shake his hand. This is not on and that player should be ashamed of himself. Fair enough you won the game, but to carry on in that fashion was deplorable!

The 7 foot walking man mountain, was very well behaved and his job is to escort the umpires off the ground every game. So if he did say something to the opposing coach, team etc. wouldn't you think the umpires are right next to him while this is going on?? As I saw it they were no where near the encounter bay team while coming off the ground.

I think before you post stuff on here cuzzy you should sort your facts out.

This really is the key question.
And it really is unfortunate when there are one or two that don't know the meaning,
hence bringing the whole team/club down with them.

From what I've read on this forum this season (and last even),
we (McLaren) are definitely not the only ones who find this with Encounter Bay.

A shame really :(
We (GSFL) pride ourselves as a league, IMO I don't think this kind of behaviour is warranted,
and sincerely hope that it stops happening.

Just play footy hey :-??

Yes, I posted my thoughts last week after the Creeks game against EB and was shot down by a few people, but I see a common theme occuring here.

I'm sure it's only the actions of a few, but it's bringing down the reputation of EB as a club which is sad to see.

TW no excuses, doesnt matter who played or who didnt play. The 21 should have been able to get the job done Saturday and it didnt. Compass were committed to the plan Steve Samuels set them, and they executed the skills a lot better than we did, plain and simple we were beaten by the better side on the day. The only point where we could have probably finished the game off was middle of the 3rd quarter but we wasted opportunities and kept Compass in the game, the last quarter came around, the young lads from Compass got their tails up and away they went! Very well done Mt Compass!

The breaks come at the right time, our group as a whole can have a good look at ourselves and come out after the week off fresh and ready to fire for the last part of the season.

Good to see Dale Ellis hit back with 10 goals over the weekend! An amazing scoreline between the Creeks and Yank, the Hawks must have been brilliant!

Yea, the Willunga result is massive, blows the comp wide open.

The Creeks were very impressive Saturday, the ball barely got past Yankalilla's half forward line all day. Creeks midfield was awesome, and that was without Hill and with minimal involvement from Footner who stayed at half back out of harms way, probably wanted to get through a whole game for a change.

There are still a couple of teams with a glimmer of hope to get in to the 5, but the next 3 weeks will settle it once and for all. Once the 5 is set in concrete do we see McLarens and Goolwa / Port Elliot "tanking" to get the 7th spot and 3 extra player points for 2010?

i doubt goolwa or mclaren would tank a match. Both teams struggling for a couple of years and would want to get as many wins on on the board. All teams just want to win as much as they can

if Mclarens dont win the next couple, watch there B grade results sky rocket, already got a pretty handy B grade side but wait until the usual A graders drop back to help the B grade have a decent crack at finals. Without looking at the Maths, is their a possibility that the bays could still make the 5 in the A grade? The answer is proabably No and i cant really be f%^Ked working it out because i am s^%t at percentages, maths etc? anyone any good

I dont think we would, but 3 points is an extra Zac Ewer or Stephen White in the mix come next year, it would have to be tempting! Mathmatically the Bays can make it but it would need a miracle, results like those on the weekend (Mt Compass) dont help the teams below.

I say TANK! If you're not playing finals then set yourself up for a better year next season!!!
Anyway, it's not "tanking", it's called "playing younger players"....

LF, how did you handle the heckling from the sidelines saturday mate? The bloke seemed to know what he was talking about and looked like he could play some decent footy himself! Number 17 copped a barrage of abuse! I personally thought you were ok saturday...Just gearing yourself up for another mark and goal of the year to win the game at Pongy again!

god your a knob cuzzy, can you tell me when we have ever dropped players back to b grade and we had 10 players out of our b grade side on the weekend, so we are only going to get better and its not gonna be because we drop players back and with probably 5 back into the a grade next week after the break i would be expecting a much better performance against yank
