If they had a ruckman they would be a much better team. And you say the older wait is an in an under player which will add some grunt.

They should be around the mark again with Jervois and Mypo, depending on signings for all of the clubs of course.

Give us your thoughts GWW...

Who is the older Wait? Must be **** old if he is older than julian

Yeah it would be Julian referred to. The younger brother, i think his name is Tyson, played at Imps season just gone.

I thought someone previously said he would add grunt? If he is a goalkicker that will fill Shiell's spot...

Yeah he'd be worth 4 points i think, if hes available i guess Imps would have to weigh up whether or not its worth recruiting an injury prone 30 plus year old. If he could stay fit theres no doubt he could fill the void by Shiell if he retires.

I honestly think he should retire, his body's taken a pounding. Its probably time for him 2 look at coaching somewhere,if thats of interest 2 him.
He's got nothing 2 prove playing country.

the biggest incentive would be to finish his career playing with his younger brother you would think.
although they would have played together at the maggies over the last few years so...
would be a risky... and pricey recruit. maybe theyre thinking longer term for coaching opportunities??

He'd probably like 2 finish his career playing alongside his bro & Imps would love 2 have him,but would they risk 4 pts on someone thats over 30 & injury prone?
If they do,they'd be doing sides like Jervois a favour!

Apparently all the recruits I mentioned that were heading to Tailem Bend may not be a done deal after all. Looks like they'd already maxed out under the new points system and only Lynch is a definite starter for them at this stage.

how is that they have used all their points already???
or was it a 'group deal' where they all need to play?

Don't know for sure but I'm assuming they'd have other recruits lined up other than the five I mentioned, who BTW are all coming from the same 2007 season club.
Definitely know that they will not all end up at Tailem Bend.

They would have all been worth 3 points, with 5 players, would have been 15, so they would have only 1 point left to recruit (TB got 16, as did Meningie, bottom 2 teams in 07). Basically then they could have only recruited players who'd previously played for them/juniors, and players within Murray League (and players who hadn't played for 2 years). Probably not such a bad idea not to take all 5 if only 2 or 3 are definite quality players.

WALKIES div 3? they wouldn't want to be middle of the road players as you would think they would struggle to make an impact.

Walkies had decent depth and were not far off the GF this year. Mates who used to play for Mypo reckon its about div 4 standard in the RMFL so they should go alright. The one player I got told had signed with Mannum is about 6 foot 4 and a leading foward but needs delivery.
