not that i saw BC.
it was a quite uninspiring evening from my point of view, the night didnt really seem to flow too well.
as for making it more professional, i think youll find most indy players play indy footy because its more relaxed and casual approach. making it more professional will probably stop alot of people turning up.
i must be honest i was considering dressing up as wheres wally, is that the kind of dress code youre speaking of BC

Maybe have it on a Sunday arvo then and do it each year at a different club's oval. Light a bonfire and everyone get ripped off their chops.

From my view, I wore a dress shirt and I was one of not too many. Dress code is
pretty relaxed.
I thought the night was good. I am crows fan so I didn't mind Caven.
Although I found it interesting he has spoken at the count twice in 5 years.
Food was excellent and no doubt a few of the lads enjoyed a couple of
beers haha! The Wunkar table were in fine form.

I enjoyed the night too, but Peter Caven told the same stories he told last time he was here.
He also prattled on for about 45 minutes which is far too long.
It's a lot better since we split from the Whillas, because we actually get to focus on the both grades, rather than just the A grade.
And the Cobby Club does a great job hosting the night too.

Underdogs????????
The players Barmera have in their team, they deserve to be favourites. It's going to be a ripper of a game.

Well done to both Lyrup and Wunkar on winning the Independent premierships.
Pity about the weather though. The A grade final would have been a much better spectacle with some decent weather.
Lyrup did really well though. I thought they were gone at 1/4 time!

Well done to Barmera on the weekend.
Not a bad crowd there on Saturday, considering the weather.

East Murray had 19 on the field at one point on Saturday in the GF?

Is it true Shane Schultz has retired?

Congrats to Lyrup and Wunkar. Well done BG on getting the boys there, pity it wasnt a better day 4 you.

Cant wait to see Pricey get towelled up by Whitey again this weekend, that would be sweet. (and priceless for payouts in years to come)

Titters said to me that he would be retiring after this seasons end. God knows why though, he could go another 5 years on current form. A lot of opposition ruckmen will be glad he's hung up the boots however.

Good luck to both Berri and Barmera this weekend although i dont care personally who wins.

Bit surprised with some of the Team of the Year selections last night. How can Leigh Kruger (2010 All Australian Country Captain) only make the interchange?? Kirk Harwood had a shocker too and missed 6 games and he was named on a Forward Flank.
