Exelby is looking fit, you blokes are onto it, he does stand out - looks like people still watching whether coaches training other than worrying about their own efforts at training, hope you lads do not give Gaz a hard time - could be an angry coach - haha - see old penis legs was looking very old with the Ironbank lads - he looks like a bald version of Cliffy Young waddling up the steps.

That's a bit disrespectful to Cliffy comparing him to Penis Legs.

Certainly does have wobble though, i think his oversize cranium has something to do with it!

Birdwood is not looking too shabby so far, mark down an improved side this year, there is somewhat a spring in there step. let’s hope they can defeat some of these so called top 5 teams and send a message to the central hills league that they are here to stay.........wouldn’t be bad for the league, maybe a different red and white team will be nested comfortably on top of the ladder in a year or two time......... 8)

What do you mean by so called top 5. What teams are you refering to? The ones that actually did finish in the top 5?

You Rooster boys need to be a bit realistic. You've picked up a couple of footballers and think you can now take on the world. Mt Lofty, Uraidla, Hahndorf etc have also picked up players and they were already many goals better than you. Wish you well but you have no hope of beating any of the likely top 5, unless there are floods!

Don't put all Rooster supporters in the same roost!! There are a couple on here that are being optimistic and there's nothing wrong with that. But no-ones come out and said Birdwood will make the finals.
The A grade's aim is to be much more competitive against the sides that were above them in 08 and if some results go our way, hopefully be knocking on the door for the finals or around that mark.

The main goal of the club is to build for the future and maybe in a couple of years, surprise some clubs that thought we could never be successful in div 1.

That is a very optimistic prediction silky, considering Hahndorf didn't get within 15 goals of Mt Lofty last year and whilst they have picked up a couple, Cooper and kaesler are a year older whilst the majority of Lofty's team are just starting to enter their prime (22-26y), only Burchy is older than 28 and he is made of titanium and has a life expectancy of 4000 years. It'll be a great contest though. Uraidla will be better this year also.

Yes burch isnt the worst bloke to have as oldest in your side. He and his lego hair should be running around for many years to come.
