I believe this is a better system than the four week option when the winner of the first semi previously had a week off.
Nuriootpa and Angaston will play their round one match on Tuesday, April 25th for ANZAC Day then follow up just four days later in Round two on April 29th.

Netball wont agree to it and if theres no netball the Sunday finals are not much more than a regular season home game for atmosphere. Id be surprised Netball has agreed to the 3 week finals series.

Good to see common sense prevailed and we didnt start on the 8th April for one week before Easter break

BLGFA sticking to final 4 with 1st and 2nd semi on the same weekend. The management committee need to have a good hard look at itself there were 7 versions presented to the clubs in the last month. It cant be that hard.??????

Netball keep their top 4 (play their finals on Sats during the footy finals, have Sunday off)

If RMFL can have a top 5 in a 7 team comp and can run Sat/Sun finals, surely the BLG can
