for "attempted striking."

Does "attempted striking" actually exist in football rules? I thought that it was a case of striking or NOT.

The July 17 game looks like it will be moved to the Friday night. The club involved looks like it will accept the compensation for forfieting a home match. This will be confirmed at their monthly meeting tonight and announced later this week.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

The key word is 'intent'

Just because you are to fat, slow, to short and miss with your haymakers doesn't mean the penalty should be any different. The key word is 'intent'

Hey, from what I've read, the guy's a peanut, I'm by no means justifying attempted striking. But how many times have you seen flying elbows miss and not be deemed having 'intent'. I personally wasn't aware that attempted striking was a charge.

Agree that you do see it all the time in country football. I am so glad the umpires picked this up and the commisioners backed them up by giving this serial offender a half decent holiday.

The team requesting the change. It is usually not a lot as most clubs only make a few hundred dollars over the bar, might be a little more if a canteen is involved. We have guidelines and most clubs usually agree to the amount.

If ravendale only make a couple of hundred dollars in the can bar each week then they are doing something horribly wrong! I paid $8 for a Jim Beam can when I can buy them through the bottle-o for around $2.50 a can. Smokin Dave must be getting paid $100 an hour ;)

If moving to Ravendale then compensation would be paid by RCC. They used to hand the keys over to the can bar and the club would run it as their own.
Would see no reason for the WFC to move the game to suit a rival teams request to accomodate a visiting player. If the WFC do this, then that is it...that is the last membership subs they will ever get from me...

I think your confused BTB ! Unless your a member of MPFC
TFC only get two games at Centenary with finals only 8 weeks away
why would the Roosters give up an opportunity to play on the finals
turf?
Plus there would be no chance the Demons would be allowed to cross
Windsor Ave twice in one year
