Ashley Masters is a gun 19-year-old who plays for BDT.
Is pretty handy young player in the Mallee League, one of only a few selected from mallee for the Murray Mallee Barrier trainng squad for the Country Championships.

Eastern Eyre Football League, and Ports is a combined Arno Bay and Port Neill side.
Ashley's parents own a farm at Wharminda, a tiny locality near Cleve

Murrayville v Lameroo

Murrayville just got over the line against Pinnaroo last week without goals from Clayton Sporn & Shannon Wyatt, so I am not sure if they played. Michael O’Malley stepped up with 7 goals and Luke Kirkbright moved forward to kick 3 goals. Damien Fenoughty is one of the best midfielders in the league and Kevin Wyatt is clever with his use of the ball.
Shaun Walker has recovered from injury to return to his top early season form for Lameroo. Dan Wohling & Rodney Maynard are experienced players who play well in big games. Matt & Josh Ridgway are important contributers & Ryan Walker is a consistent goal kicker.
Lameroo can win and open up the Premiership race.

Karoonda v Pinnaroo

Karoonda need their best team on the ground to match the top sides, but this does not happen often enough to gain any consistency. Justin Maloney continues to lead the way & Luke Hocking has been good in the midfield recently. Todd Boughen kicked 6 goals last week and Adrian Gregory provides a good contest at half forward. Stephen Thiele is developing into a very good wingman & Lucas Neumann is a solid contributor in ruck.
Pinnaroo look better with Matt Standley & Heath Bosely who will improve each week with match fitness. Wade Nickolls & Sunyl Vogt have returned after an interrupted season as ahs Clint Muster on a wing. Chad Nickolls is a big ruckmen who gives his midfielders a head start.
Pinnaroo should continue to build towards the finals.

BDT v Peake

BDT won well last week with an undermanned side. Josh, Clint & Lachlan Richardson win plenty of ball in the midfield & Josh is dangerous when resting up forward. Shane Binns is quick & a good kick at full forward and Nathan Todd can kick goals. Luke Remfry, Ashley Masters & Ben Hooper provide plenty of rebound and Jarvis Webb is a good mobile ruckmen.
Peake came back to earth last week after 2 good wins. Jamie & Toby Downs a goal kicking forwards, but need more support. Daniel Marrett is in the best form of his career and the midfield is performing well with Brendan Pett, Philip O’Loughlin & Tim Aloisi in good touch. Gareth Diprose & Mark Boothey are rebounding well from half back.
BDT to win at Coonalpyn.

Maynard plays well in any freakin game.
Maynard makes games big games.
The man, the moustache, the farmer, the legend, does not care for big games.
He dominates. All the time.
