Heard the Berri v Waikerie game was close today???

Ramco looked like causing an upset over Paringa, but the Swans dominated 2nd half.
That Russell Boatswain's not a small lad. Enjoyed getting in his face a bit today. Had to change my shorts at the end of the game though!

Anyone know anyone whom the boys in blue might be interested in at moment? an unmarked car pulled up to watch the Barm v LN B grade match today....unusual.

Barm won the b grade easily.
I'd rather not have played.

In the A grade, Barmera held on for a 10 point win.
I think they scored four goals in the first quarter and finished with 10.

Berri were very lucky to beat Waikerie. Waikerie should have won but Saturday showed that berri have the fight to win the premeirship. Scholefield, Saf, Allen and Hankin all very good for Berri. Venning, D.Stevens and Tape played very well for Waikerie. It will be interesting to see if Waikerie knock off barmera in 4 weeks time. i think they should, especially after the performence barmera put up against loxton north in the second half. i hope too see loxton north challenge for a top four spot with loxton.

Berri were very ordinary on Saturday. No disrespect to Waikerie, but that is the worst i have seen Berri play this year. They are a lot better team than that. As with Barmera, I'd say it was just an off week. There was a lot of build up to the Fisher Cup and I'd say they maybe became a bit complacent after the big game the week before and weren't entirely switched on. They are still definitely the two teams to beat.

Was it the worst they have played because of the pressure they were under and they weren't allowed to play any better. Goals late in the 3rd quarter by Berri proved decisive.

Waikerie were without Miller and Pogorecki too, I think they proved they are the ones to challenge Barmera and Berri.
