You have some quality footballers running around in Country Div so why not try and pick some up.

No question the majority of the Central Clubs are stronger than the Country Div Clubs, but I reckon if a SANFL could have a pick of any Hills Footballer for next season, they'd be looking at a long sleeved Torrens Valley player.

I assume you're talking about someone who hasn't already played SANFL. Who are you talking about>

While I've only really watched the central division, you'd be pretty ignorant to say that there are no good footballers in the country Div. There would be some bloke who would not only slot into central nicely, but would dominate. Josh Hill for example. Former central districts, great skills and hard as nails!

Yeah he's played at League level before. Jack wanted him at Panther Land when he got the gig, but Cheque Book Valley made an offer he couldn't refuse.

i agree there are good players in both comps, but your not being tested in division two, look at div 1 with lots of ex sanfl players playing against other teams ex sanfl footballers, where as div 2 is 1 sanfl footballer every now an then playing against blokes who dont have much of a clue.. i would say mount lofty's teams would absolutely smoke kersbrook kangarilla torrens valley by 10 15 goals..

I think all the people at onky will be pretty surprised with their new coach, he will bring in some new systems and have all the boys pumped and up and running for a big year.

Yeah, Onkas will be all pumped up and unless the new super coach brings some quality players they still won't make the finals! Heard Shane Collins has signed on as one of Daniel Healy's helpers.

i dont understand how you can justify Mt lofty not Being anywhere other than top for next yrs predictions. They won the grandy by over 7 goals last yr and dont appear to be losing any players from their A grade side

From memory even last season when Trigger, Gordon & White departed everyone was writing off Lofty at this very time. Without doubt still the team to beat. Whilst there will be improvement in Birdwood & Lobethal I would still expect them along with Bridgewater to fill the bottom 3. Even with the addition of half a dozen or so quality players they still will struggle for depth against the top sides. I'd expect Blackwood to slide down maybe one or two places on last season and maybe Hahndorf to challenge Lofty for top spot but aside from that I dont think there will be many changes in the sides vying it out for a finals birth.

I think the top five is pretty much certain the only side I can see maybe sneeking in would be Onkas but that's only if they can get Klun back anymore news on MacDonald from Barker going to Onkas. I think Lofty will be the team everyone is chasing such a good young quick side with exceptional skills. Also think Bridgy might suprise a few sides with some of the youth comming through, just lack a few key position players.

I don't think even any of the Birdwood die-hards would be willing to predict a top 5 finish but their goal is to push for a finals spot and continue the improvement.
