A Cooper to Torrens Valley from Lofty has been confirmed on the Country thread. Probably due to his move to Mt Pleasent more than difficulties with the club. Any more word on players moving from Lofty to Echunga? Or was he mean't to be one of them?

That's interesting all this talk about going to Echunga. He must enjoy playing in grand finals two much and thought Torrens Valley would be a better chance of playing of in a G.F.

Think you'll find a lot of sides doing a couple of light runs before Christmas, then getting into the full swing of things early January.

Hargraves and Ladhams on $1000 each with a car for travelling there and back. Think theres flights involved also for the longer trips.

Joel Price is the coach from Wodonga and is the reason for them headed there.

Thats the good thing about country footy, it can take u anywhere. Good luck to the boys

Ryan McGahey is worth every cent he gets. The guy is a machine and its good to c him go and make sum good coin after all his dedication at North which they obviously didnt appreciate.
Good pick up for Birdwood who i believe also hav signed Greg Dempsey.

The ruckman you are referring to is Matt Down from North Adelaide. He has agreed to play with Uraidla next season. Daniel Ebert will also play with Uraidla next season.

Excuse my ignorance. Is the Matt Down you are talking about 'Matt Downie' who played at Scotch OC last year in Div2 SAAFL??
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

Read previous posts about Birdwood's inability to have a crack this year. Noy too sure about around the ground, But if your centre square is Krieg, McGahey and Dempsy, You'd be hard pressed to find a more decent line up. All very fit, all played league football and I have heard that Dempsey was on Port Powers list a few years ago. And Krieg and McGahey are fresh out of SANFL. Thatr would have to lift spirts of the players around them surely.

Nah just found out. You got the other Dempsy. Greg Dempsy was played for port Adelaide and was on the Power list and he's the one at Birdwood.
