For the record I only got 3 right last week. Didn't pick McLaren (Bays disappopinting) or Goolwa (can't work that out at the moment).
This week - McLaren by 5 goals (looked good in patches last week), Yank must have been awful.
Langhorne Creek by 2 goals, but will be interesting after last year's upset result. Would not surprise if Strath get up.
Compass by under a kick. Samuels will put the brakes on D Ellis and Hodge.
The Magpies to continue their fine form to defeat an under manned Myponga by 7 goals.
Willunga to win comfortably. (name a number), although Blum in is a plus and the possibility of coach Mitchell leading from the front will spice the game up a bit. He doesn't fear Willunga at all.

Good to see everyone getting their tips in. I am little bit concerned about the safety of Kimusabi, the only poster from Strath but has not been sighted this week. Now it time for the master tipster:

My Tips:

Yankalilla - very close match, in the wet bodies too big for the young Eagles
Creeks - too much firepower, was intereted to read that Strath lost it last week rather than us beating them
Goolwa - close match, last years were decided by 7 points and 1 point. Pongy to appreciate a dead 4 track
VH - would tip Compass if they were home
Willunga - see creek comment

kick it to your mom wrote: Agreed, big test for Polsty. How has his opening games been? Can't see him giving as much as Laffin, but will be competitive at the stoppages i would've though. Jones might be a bit too strong for him at ball-ups.

He'll compete, not a natural footballer but have seen him play some really good games, one in particular against Willunga a few years ago. Jumped into Todds ribs in a ruck contest putting the bigfella down for a bit ,giving us a chance. Toddy came back and got Willunga over the line at Pongy by a few goals. That little bugger Portlock kicking a couple of late ones!

Yes, we will make it a Pint. Thw way the wind is blowing up and the rain is falling, Pongy may even start light favourites with the bookmakers!!!!!!!!

But if you get up LF, which you will, Pongy would have lost it rather than Goolwa win it. Amazing how it all can turn around - everyone just about going for Goolwa!

Round 3 Tips

McLaren vs Yank - Roll the dice.. it could go either way I reckon. In the dry I'd take McLaren but I'm gonna go for the hard tackling Tigers in the wet and windy conditions.
Langhorne Creek vs Strathalbyn - Historically these matches are always close but I think the Hawks will win comfortably (hopefully)
Goolwa vs Myponga - The Magpies to continue their good form over a spirited Mudlarks although I wouldn't put it past the Muddies to get up for an upset win if the Goolwa boys go into the match thinking they'll be a push over.
Victor Harbor vs Mt Compass - Victor to get up by 4 or 5 goals. Will be tight early before the Roos kick away I'm tipping.
Willunga vs Encounter Bay - Willunga to win this one with daylight finishing in 2nd and possibly 3rd place.

The Magpies celebrated last week like it was a GF, which is a little bit understandable after 2 very lean years, but no the lid is firmly back on beacuse there is a long way to go. Since I was 4 years old as a mini colt I learnt that you never underestimated pongy Limb. They will be firing and they will be tough to knock over, so we need to be confident but not cocky.

2. 2007 & 2008 Bays developed a number of mid range players and a number of colts - where are they now - cant keep saying they're coming, they're coming.
3. The bays have gone from a competitive unit to making up the numbers
4. why do ppl get on signmans back about not helping out then when he says he's about to you bag crap out of him? he hasnt bagged the club, he's simply said things others dont like to admit.

CLub prides one thing but being the fool is another - footy is a funny ol thing - fast forward a few years and Im sure the cycle will change and new clubs will be at the top. The only thing is - it will be the clubs that plan for it and work on that plan.

BB sit on your hands - you'd be tip tapping away if this were your club ppl were talking about so until you can add constructive unput neck up! Although you did make one vaguely good point.

EBFC from the outside looking in are in trouble.

Simple - keep your juniors and their families happy - get the reserves to realise that you will never improve until you do it together OR get a bloody big loan and offer blokes more than they can poke a stick at to play in 2010 and buy a finals appearance because as a lot of clubs will notice is that as money continues to tighten up in the economy ppl will want more to travel and they wont be wanting to travel to get flogged every week.

Hmmmm maybe the last bloke wasn't as bad as I've read on here and seen from the old sites results.

Anyway - just my thoughts - if you dont like em scroll down - pretty simple.

Good summary Vision, as the past coach you really know whats going on behind closed doors!! You prob didnt need to add the bit about the last bloke as we are aware you (vision) are the 'old bloke'.

Thanks bloke however Im not the old bloke, I just have a very good way of investigating things.

On other issues a certain demon player has a bit of an affinity with the cougars.

Saturday night was seen chatting up a couple at the top pub in Willunga and then popped over to her place after attending a party at Maslin Bch.

Will have more news tomorrow on this players hunt for cougar love!

Wasnt it a ripper tackle by young Damien Carr on good friend and ex-demon Scotty Mcmahon on Saturday late in the game. Got a rousing roar from the crowd!
