Predicted Ladder
1st Imperials (Guaranteed Top Spot)
2nd Mypolonga
3rd Ramblers
4th Mannum
5th Jervois
6th Meningie
7th Tailem Bend

Mail Medal - Tyson Wait
Goal Kicker - Gene Robinson (Will Crack the 100th against Ramblers in last Round)
Lyall Parker Championship - Imperials

Grand Final Matches - winners in bold
League - Imperials vs Ramblers
Reserves - Imperials vs Meningie
Under 17s - Imperials vs Tailem Bend
Under 15s - Mypolonga vs Mannum

Think you've got most of it spot on, but can't see Tyson Wait winning the Mail Medal.... Not sure he's had his most consistent year and he hasn't dominated games like in past years. I know he's equal leader in the footballer of the year in the Standard but some of the weeks he has got votes he wouldn't of been Imps best player.

Having said that I think the Mail Medal winner will be a low total this year, so anyone could win... there doesn't seem to be many players that have dominated week in week out.

The player of the year is laughable. I think most weeks the votes go to players who don't get in the best players for their club.

Good to see Chris Hall back on the park today booting 3 goals for the Roos.

RMFL still playing a final 5 in finals, for what we can only assume is a $$ thing. How about they get the damn draw right!!!

Round 1, Both MB clubs play at Home
R2, both play Away
R3 play Each other
R4, Both @ H
R5, Both A
R6, Imps Bye
R7, Both A
R8, Both A
R9, Ramblers Bye
R10, Play EO
R11, Both A
R12, Both @ H
R13, Imps Bye
R14, Both @ H
R15, Imps Bye
R16 Rambler Bye
R17 Play EO
R18 Both A
R19, The only round where only 1 MB club played home while the other played away.

The decline in gate revenue because of this appalling draw, would more then compensate for the extra finals. I just cant imagine what they were thinking?
an extra 150 people through the gate (conservative) for each of the 10 weeks where they were either both away or @ Home x$8 per person = $12,000 missed. I know heaps of people & families who love going to local footy, & would go more often if there was a game in the bridge most weeks. It is our biggest market & we don't cater for it very well

Great to see Hally back. Still a freak.

Not a bad idea Goldberg. An interesting stat re top 5 would be to see how far the fifth team has progressed over the years. My recent memory tells me not many have progressed past the elimination final.

Just like riding a bike and picked up where he finished was my mail. Talking about mail, has he now played enough games to be a chance at the medal....

Or they could drive five minutes to an adjacent town to go to the footy there, Goldberg. There are some pretty decent advantages having two clubs in the city so I reckon there is plenty of market capturing going on there.
Every other town in the league only has footy at home once a fortnight on average.
apart from that the top 5 is ridiculous.

The RMFL does not get the gate takings week to week that is the clubs that get that. The RMFL gets all of the gate takings for the finals. It is not great having top 5 out of 7 but I think Jervois this year are a genuine finals team. They could knock off both Mannum and Mypo I feel in the first 2 weeks.

Jervois will not get near Mypolonga on a dry day and if the real Mannum turn up Jervois will not get near them either again on a dry day. Big game on Saturday both teams have beaten each other so far so the river murray should witness a good contest. The difference again will be the pontiff , the greatest of them all COLLO. Mannum have the talent but just not getting enough from a few blokes , Tonkes can he play 2 good games in a row , obviously not , not sure if bougen has been playing all year but needs to do something and Bowls what is with him Davey will rip him apart , great to see Hall back but will not be anywhere near fit and will struggle against good backmen . Is Pech injured ?he isn't getting a kick and I heard he will be out injured .Clayton and Sheedy are the only standouts which isn't saying a lot for the team but Imperials will win by at least 8 goals. Harrow is in top form , our Hall is firing and our defence is too good and work too hard for Mannum. Last time Davey showed Bowen how to play.

@ PB - didn't Mypo make the GF from the Elimination final a few years ago? Not sure if they finished 4th or 5th??

And I think Jervois can certainly give Mypo a run for their money. Mypo's soft underbelly is really showing at the moment - was speaking to a Mypo guy on the weekend during the A grade and he said they are just getting pushed around in the last few weeks - he said Tailem even intimidated them physically and if anyone is going to intimidate them physically it is Jervois...

It will be a bruising encounter that's for sure! A great game of football at Mannum yesterday considering the gusty conditions. Sheedy managed to lift in the last quarter and carry Mannum home.

Have heard before yesterday that ramblers really didn't want to be playing mannum at mannum, so this Is also going to be a great game, I'd imagine a bit more free flowing that what Sundays game will be.

Don't know where you heard that one Grasshopper. Playing them on that oval works to our advantage with their lack of pace. Pretty sure we beat them by over 10 goals last time out there

I sense some momentum rolling with the Roos at the business end of the season. Yates now has them humming with Chris Halls return from injury could put icing on the cake.

Its not often I am wrong but I was in a big way. we were out coached out played and out muscled. Some of the attack on the footy by Mannum was the most fierce but fair I have seen all season , they intimidated and hurt our blokes with pressure . We will learn from that and have a different mind set next time . Look out ramblers your turn next, this season is very much alive and will be an exiting finish.

Davey will be fine with the week off, I didn't mention Hall as he is very unfit , however , if you do not put your best defender on him he will kick 3-5 goal every week, matching Mannum's forward line now is not easy.

Not sure where you got that info from. Hally was one of the last knocked out in the club beep test a couple of weeks ago. In the 14's I reckon.
