Also can anyone tell me if Harder has signed at Tailem for at least next year? Would seem a waste of cash to get him here this year as 1 forward isn't going to turn them into a contender. Hopefully for them he hangs around next year and they can build something around him

Depends on whether they can maintain the ridiculous dollars they are paying him.

Still copped a flogging on Saturday.

It's Quiet on here!
Not much talk about the weekends games.

Jervois beating Tailem followed by Wrestlemania 31 and the love boys causing a huge argument in the Jervois changerooms when they asked for more cash because they won them the game.
Mannum beating Meningie in a low scoring affair
Imperials rolling Mypolonga in one of the hardest game of country footy I have seen! With strong rain falling all game both teams but on a great show with over 20 goals kicked in shit conditions. But far out Imperials pressure was outstanding, if they can do that again for the rest of the season they will be there on the final day!

are the clearances up to date? If so it shows Ray Love has been cleared to the Far West league and should not be playing for Jervois.

I believe he went over there for 1 game earlier in the season and it would have been a permit so would have automatically fallen back to jervois, is this the one you are talking about?

If what I have heard is true, that a lad who has state under 18 commitments in the NT is unavailable for association and the league executives have slapped him with a 2 week ban, this is absolute crap, surely playing at that level is more important than a association game?? The powers to be need to realise there is more important things than just there little 7 team league, it's not like these commitments are a once off either he has missed 3 games so far for the bears due to these commitments!!

RMFL were two goals down at half time and then forgot to re-take the field.

Final score KNTFL 22.10 (142) to RMFL 7.16 (58)

Poor kicking at goal early hurt RMFL. They only kicked two goals after the main break.

Which names are being spoken of PB? Mr Dalwood doesn't like this humble
league playing second fiddle.
Complete reversal from last years result with many great player missing.

I've heard Bowen from Mannum has been suspended along with a couple of Meningie lads already mentioned. By all reports the RMFL lads performed much better in the Keith pub than during the game yesterday!

I agree but don't agree with the suspensions about not playing because dont want too, but being suspended as have other, higher footy commitments is absolute bullshit and surely Dalwood and co can't do this?

Read Dalwood's preview article in the Standard at it was clear interleague means a lot to him. He'd be hurting more than the players I reckon.

Lucky that system isn't in vogue down here, there'd be a few blokes sitting out next week.

Can't say I read any of dalwoods stuff in the paper these days as 99% is personal attacks on players and bullshit articles trying to be funny, instead of a decent preview of an upcoming game or review.

This is an absolute disgrace. If what I heard is true, Clayton & Sheedy dont turn up on tuesday, then show their faces on thursday night only to take the field for 10 minutes, then pull the pin on training making themselves unavailable for the game. Yet they get away scott free, Just as McLoed wasn't even chosen in the squad last year. (Yep he's not in our best 40 players) Can any1 spell double standards
TOO MANY LOOP HOLES and TOO MUCH KNOB RUBBING from the people at the top of the RMFL. If guys want to play great! If they dont, dont pick them in the damn squad. Really simple isn't it!!

The clubs need to get this amendment to the leagues rules changed asap or soon someone (like Ladhams did) is going to stand up to them, and they legally cant stop a guy from choosing work over footy, and really why should they have that power.
