I was never a fan of the MB Redlegs, nevertheless, they did contribute to what the RMFL is today..

They had an "all star" team (Bartletts etc) for about 2 years in the mid '90s, and were close to an A Grade flag - they were probably favourites to win grand final in '95 until Jimmy May got knocked out.

I see Meninge still have the clearances coming through, they could field a whole side with their new players this year if they all played.

Also can anyone tell me if Harder has signed at Tailem for at least next year? Would seem a waste of cash to get him here this year as 1 forward isn't going to turn them into a contender. Hopefully for them he hangs around next year and they can build something around him

Alot of the the players who have been cleared are lads who know mots and just want to come for a game of ressies, which that is no guarantee as I believe we have plenty of numbers.

I was going by clearances so unless there was another clearance put in Friday night and cleared Saturday morning he shouldn't have been playing for them

Depends on whether they can maintain the ridiculous dollars they are paying him.
