You'll to get the money's worth thats for sure. Its people like you who are ruining community football plugger12. Time to take a walk in the house of mirrors plugger12. In case you don't know plugger12 i happen to be good mates with the elletsons and i think he will play very good footy at Millicent. Shame on you plugger12!

Yes I Agree Browny but i think once Shaun settles in with his new club and the pace I cant see him having too many troubles this year. Ive reason to believe this is a foot in the door for Shaun and hopefully if injury free he can have a solid year and who knows he could wind up to an SANFL club in the near future or if anything Div 1 or 2 in amatuers!! A realy good player never stays quiet for too long and i think shauns got what it takes to mix with the best down there.

East Gambier are already through to Grand Final and North and South Gambier are playing in preliminary final this week.

According to fullpointsfooty website it wil be North's first flag since '89 (if they get through saturday and win next week of course) and East's first since '88 if they can win.

If all of Souths guns fire they will beat North quite comfortably alot of these guys were down last week and they only lost by 3pts if South lose I think it will be the Dogs to break the drought in the one that counts !!

On top of the recent signing of Darren Dean as non playing coach from mid se club Mt Burr, Western Border fl club Millicent have also re-signed assist coach Troy Hosking. In another coup signing for the red black & whites, is they have signed 2009 senior coach of mid se club Robe - Matt Bryant.
Bryant had spent the past 4 yrs (i think) as assist coach at robe, from what i recall he was often called upon either deep in defence or as a pinch hitter up forward. While not new too the role up forward, he made his name as a leading goalkicker in the whyalla fl prior to him coming to the mid se league.
A little birdy also told me last night that there is more exciting news to come regarding in-coming players for season 2010, with only one on feild loss at this stage in Phil Bennett (returning to Adl'), the saints are really trying to put last season (2009) under achieving performance behind them.

FWIW apparently quality East Gambier player Matt Ellis will be suiting up for Kalangadoo in 2010.

Have heard that since Dawe stepped down after all the unrest since the grand final loss, that the players that were mentioned in leaving may stay at East.
In other wb related news, former West Gambier player Mark Kruger has been appointed coach of mid se club and reigning premiers Mt Burr...he should fit in well with what the burr has to offer out there...

Kruges got shafted for a reason at kingston, and it was'nt for being a choirboy !!!! and thats the reason his former club and where he started his football career West Gambier - won't have him back for the reasons he got the arse from kingston & Berri before that. And the burr won't be the type of environment to stay honest and law abiding.

Have heard that that a couple of people that west had spoken too, had strung them along up until signing the papers before turning them down. Another so-called whisper was that East Gambiers hard at it veteran, Jason Dunn was in the mix but when the fall out of former coach Jason Dawe stepped down him and maybe the rest of the names that were tipped in leaving the kennel now could be remaining with the bulldogs. Which may effect a club in the mid se as this club close to Millicent were tipped in naming Dunn also as coach....interesting times.
