Pity I didn't know you were there. I woulda said g'day.

On the discipline - you guys had a couple sent of yeah? In the Peake game it got a little firey in the second half. Number five for them shoulda been sent off too. he was the one firing all the bullets.

The follow up was Whose Law (Is it anyway) BTW. You're forgiven for not remembering it - it did nothing here.

That was Tim Aloisi who played at Paralowie last year and went up to Peake with Dutchy. We were warming up on the side of the ground during the second half of Peake v Blacks and he walks past at a boundary throw-in and says to me 'Theres gonna be a fight here soon Pag'. And I saw nothing after that. Was a bit disappointed actually.

what is it about 4 foot nothin players that wear #5, they like to yack a bit!!!

i heard someone during the blacks v salisbury game when i was time keeping saying that they were gonna tag cj out of the game. dont know who it was, presuming it was a peake lad coz i don't reckon the flinders uni boys would have been in the loop with all the forum shenanigans.

Are you under the impression that Blackwood finished second because they played all three of their games?
Because when Nuri forfeited their game on Sat evening, we (PDFC) were under the impression that the forfeit would automatically be credited to us, therefore finishing second on the table, because we had won one game and Blackwood hadn't won any of theirs.

Seems a bit of a strange system when you cant win a game all weekend and then finish higher than a side that beat you previously. Doesn't make any sense, in my eyes.

All in all the carnival was well run and hats off to the Loxton Tigers Football Club and also a big thanks to the guys who cooked the BBQ all day. What Legends they are!!!

But if you guys withdrew and Nuri withdrew, then there would've only been two teams left, therefore 1st (Gaza) and 2nd (Blackwood). Unless I'm mistaken and Ports didn't withdraw?

As I said before, we were under the impression that if Nuri withdrew, we would have been given the game and not have to play. Blackwood didn't win anything, at least we rolled them. Your argument makes some logic though. We did only play two games but we let Nuri pull out first before we left. Poor Scotty Lee, I was talking to him after the game and the poor bastard only had 10 players left. He was a nice guy. We only had about 18 left at the end also. It is a good concept but you need a squad of at least 30 to get thru.

Yes, I could gather that, but they both have ginger hair, so they should deserve everything they get.
