who was the hills league player who got 45 possies last sat then staggered out of the electric cricus last sat at 3am ? good work :D must have slept allday sunday and had a sore foot :lol: :lol:
p.s also had to be a country league player as central boys had the weeek off ..does anyone know who this legend was ?

What's unusual about that? If I had 45 touches I'd be staggering out of there a lot later than that.

I don't think the story was actually true - I get the feeling Rucci made it up to illustrate his point about how 'tough' it is for AFL players.

I thought that the article was written by Rucci? It makes a fair point, even though AFL players are under intense scrutiny in every facet of their life, they are more than compensated by the opportunities that arise through being an AFL footballer.
