Why not have a poll "How much will Morphett Vale win by?"

Andy not sure it will be as one sided as you keep on suggesting. Im pretty sure both of these sides would beat yours comfortably.
Morphett Vale should win it, hard and tough around the football with good forward targets.

I think it will be a very close game, if it was played towards the end of the season (i know its not possible) i think Willunga would win by a couple of goals, september specialists, but morphies with their consistency all year will be hard to beat even in pre-season.

September specialists? What would you call Morphies then March wonders? They've both won four flags in a row and Morphies have only dropped 1 final in that time. I've posted some crap in my time, but you my friend, have just taken the cake!

Well my mate told me willunga start there preseason 4 weeks before the morphy game so i would imagine willunga will be very underdone , having said that morphy's often start late also will be closer than most expect.Morphy's by 7 pts in a high scoring seesawing, ding dong battle.

Out of interest just wondering how many Aldinga juniors in these sides. I know of Adam Carnevale, Andrew McDonald (Willunga) and Jared Kurtz (Morphettvale), Edwards from Morphettvale too I believe. Mitchell Portlock but think he's at South Adelaide at the moment.

Portlock not at South - played in Willunga Premiership side in 07. Will be playing for Ea$tlake Demon$ in Canberra in 08 if my sources are correct. Add Matt Radbone, Nick Judd and Damion Young (all Willunga) to the list of former Aldinga Sharks.

Willunga suck ar*e. They will not come within 20 goals of Morphett Vale with guys like Baxter, Portlock and Hams in there side. Past it guys that are not worth the $$ they get paid.

mbs05 is obviously not involved with the Morphett Vale Football Club. Most of us have quite a bit of respect for the Morphett Vale Football Club.

Mbs05 nothing personal but what you know about football you could write on the back of a postage stamp in crayon.
How can Portlock be past it?? he's only 23-24 kills sides week in week out.

Willunga have started the season of relatively slow in the last two years, for them they are september specialists, thats when they play their best footy, they have dropped games early in the year to enc bay and compass, inconsistant early in the year, i was quite aware they had both won 4 flags in a row, i don't think willunga would have dropped many more than 1 final either. Willunga are a ten goal better side in september.
