For any of you south easterners on here - Carl Semmler (ex Keith and Border Districts) played in the premiership winning Marble Range side on Saturday and received the Mick Hegarty medal as BOG and doubled up with 7 goals in a matchwinning performance. Has been in outstanding form particularly in the latter games of the season and arguably the best recruit in the Port Lincoln league this year. Mel made it a family affair winning the premiership in the A grade Netball for Wanilla.
Caught up with Goofy Makin over here at the footy GF - still looks as though he could run out onto the ground. A mighty fine player himself.
