There I was thinking I was a chance at Woodville only 34 out
then I check and
LOCKY801 NAILS IT SPOT ON WITH 2223, THE EXACT FIGURE IN THE PAPER!

Is there a bonus bun or stump etc for getting a crowd exact?

Strewth, I don't know what to do about that one. It's a pretty rare achievement.
Probably double the regular award should be the go methinks, so in this case we Locky gets 2 muffin stumps for his direct hit!
CONGRATULATIONS LOCKY, for being the first ever punter to achieve this!

More results coming up unless I get interrupted.

Elizabeth Crowd..2,736, closest Punter "Long Time Waiting 2" (2,746)
Woodville Crowd..2,223, closest Punter "Locky801" (2,223) *2 Muffin Bonus!
Unley Crowd*..4,434, closest "legal" punter "Hazbeen" (4,400)
*Slightly controversial this figure, the radio gives the crowd as 4,239 which would earn "Ian" (4,127) a Muffin Stump, but the paper gives a figure of 4,434 which would earn " Hazbeen" (4,400) a Muffin Stump out of all the "legal" entries, but then we have an "illegal" entry by "Brod" (4,444) who was just an uncanny 10 out of the paper's figure. I have decided to go with the paper's figures, purely because it is perhaps more reliable than something heard over the radio. I also cannot accept Brod's entry as that would entail an unfair advantage over other punters as he would have had more knowledge of weather conditions etc. due to his overly late entry.
Glenelg Crowd..7,711 closest Punter "Spell Check" (6,732)
TOTAL..17,104 closest Punter "The Rising Blues" (16,490)
Yeehah!

Congratulations to all Muffin Stump winners.

I blame Keith Martyn...

(last year in the wet the crowd was only 1811 at Glenelg vs Port)

Where were your predictions, Dutchy? I guess the unwritten rule of the gambling room doesn't apply here? :?
