Leave it as is if I have to do the bookwork - I'm too busy and slack to keep tabs on that sort of stuff.

You would just need to put down the teams that has been chosen next to the user name. And even though that would be near impossible, whoever may be left at the end of 9 rounds, they are still in it with all the 9 teams to choose from again. But what happens say if there are two left in it after 8, and the only team that one or both can pick has the bye? I think that people would just have to choose wisely so it doesn't happen, and if all competitiors have the same team left, the 9 teams all become available again. Of course this would be highly unlikely - I think that the competition would be over by 5 weeks, tops.

Hooray, I'm the only one to gain entry into next week by tipping the Redlegs.

We could make all entrants keep a list of their own previous tips. That way we just need to keep tabs on the liars/cheats, which would earn them an automatic ejection from the comp'. In the first few rounds the lists would be short and easy to keep track of, and as the comp' wears on the entrants would drop like flies, making it easy to keep track of again.
The only question I can think of is what should we call this new comp'?
"Cut Throat Slaughter?"
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

That'll do. This will stop people tipping like this: Central, Glenelg, Central, Sturt, Central etc. ;)
