Don't know the exact figure but generally the Crowd was very disappointing.

Congratulations to the winner.

Yep, SP you are correct.

North only have about 3000 more at the GF than Eagles?

I still thought by the amount of ranting and raving about the eagles not being in a GF for once, i thought they wouldve got close to 35000 :?

Do you really think that there was a lot more centrals supporters at the game, from a neutral point of view i thought it was pretty even...maybe it's also a case of not as many of your supporters rocking up, because you have won so many over the last 8 years. Am i the only one who thought the crowd was pretty even on sunday??

CONGRATULATIONS goes to Eagle Fan for not only taking away the coveted Bun and Bowl of Pea Soup for winning the BFC Premiership, but he has also cantered away with the Big Bun for being closest to the actual Grand Final figure out of anyone in the entire field.
Eagle Fans prediction: 29,886
Actual attendance: 30,493
That's only 607 people short of the actual figure. Talk about our deserved premier turning on the class to bring home the bacon in the most important clash of the year and Eagle Fan has achieved this hands down.
Congratulations BFC Premier for 2007: Eagle Fan.
Commiserations Sturt Peter, our worthy runner up.

Thanks very much to RisingBlues and others who organised this fun competition, and let's hope we can all do it again next year.

I would also like to point out that the crowd on Sunday, for the first Central-North GF, in near-perfect weather, was 4,300+ LESS than the 34,819 who attended the first Central-Eagles GF in 2000.

You also fail to point out it was MORE than the crowds in 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
If you want to be selective North v West got 39k in 1991.
With the way the SANFL has evolved so much especially with changes of days and/or long weekends, etc you can only compare the last 2 years as a fair comparison. Even if you don't want to do that you can take an average of North v Central GF crowds as opposed to Central v Eagles crowds.
It's not rocket science.
