John Howard Couldn't remember MPs name

I see a day or 2 ago JH looked pretty silly when he couldn't remember the local MPs name in Tasmania when doing a radio interview.
It wasn't so much this accident that hit me but it was the way Kevin Rudd simply dismissed it as an innocent error when brought up by a journo, he could have easily have done the usual pollie thing and jump on it claiming Johnn's not with it anymore, etc but I was very impressed in him dismissing it as an innocent error and something the media shouldn't be worried about.
Its not too often when Pollies don't take any chance to jump on their opponents and when they don't in incidents like this it really does impress me.
Can anyone remember if when Kim Beazley forgot a name or two some years back if the Libs jumped on it?

I remember that incident Wedgie and totally agree. It doesn't take much to stand out in politics, just focus on real solutions to problems rather than bagging the opposing party at every opportunity.

Yes, that is an aspect of Kevin Rudd's behaviour that has made me feel a lot more comfortable about him as a potential PM than some of the previous Labour leaders, and the current Liberal leadership. Despite having been a Liberal Party member since the Hawke/Keating era pushed me that way, I am not entirely happy with them now, and I did seriously consider a Labour vote before Mark Latham stepped up to the plate and put me right off.

Now if Julia Gillard didn't worry me just a bit, along with some statements by union heavyweights recently.......

Very true it was impressive by rudd, but it gives absolutely no insight into how he will run the country
