Al-Qaida call for war on Iran.

This whole situation of one group hates another in Iraq just seems to be so far out of control that it is beyond solving......

We went to Iraq under the impression that Saddam had WMD's, yet that proved to be false, the result has been one huge meltdown which doesnt look like it is going to be solved any time soon.

=======================================

The leader of an al-Qaida umbrella group in Iraq threatened to wage war against Iran unless it stops supporting Shi'ites in Iraq within two months, according to an audiotape.

Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, who leads the group Islamic State in Iraq, said his Sunni fighters have been preparing for four years to wage a battle against Shi'ite-dominated Iran.

"We are giving the Persians, and especially the rulers of Iran, a two-month period to end all kinds of support for the Iraqi Shi'ite government and to stop direct and indirect intervention ... otherwise a severe war is waiting for you," he said in the 50-minute audiotape released Sunday. The tape, which could not be independently verified, was posted on a Web site commonly used by insurgent groups.

Iraq's Shi'ite-led government is backed by the US but closely allied to Iran. The United States accuses Iran of arming and financing Shi'ite militias in Iraq - charges Teheran denies.

In the recording, al-Baghdadi also gave Sunnis and Arab countries doing business in Iran or with Iranians a two-month deadline to cease their ties.

"We advise and warn every Sunni businessman inside Iran or in Arab countries especially in the Gulf not to take partnership with any Shi'ite Iranian businessman - this is part of the two-month period," he said.

agreed redden whites. Recently overseas,I met a chap in a rug store in Istanbul who told me he was a kurd from northern iraq.He said he was in Turkey as an illegal. He said that under Saddam life was hell but at least he had a family and home to go to. Now after the US invasion he has no family and no home.

Western world is so hated in so many areas because we straight out deserve it.

The problem seems to be that Western politicians find it impossible to believe the people actually voted for those leaders who believe what they preach and do, just as they can't grasp the idea that people in Germany in the 1930s did freely vote Hitler into office. So, they imagine that if they give them another shot they'll get it right this time.

Obviously other subterranean motives like "energy supply" help to shape the way that thinking process works, but I think they actually bring themselves to believe it - just like the people I have met who believe "everybody" smokes Marijuana or "everybody" normally gets drunk on weekends, and Ecstasy is harmless.

You come to believe what you want to believe.
