Good to see Abbott is finally creating some of those jobs he promised. Sure they are overseas, but it's a start  (Bloody wanker)

Its a disgrace but suspect labour would have done the same thing. Both Parties just lack basic understanding of basic economics :(

For the records, I found Abbott's comments about the Japanese disgraceful and appalling. Burn in hell Abbott, my father was a war vet and fought them. Maybe the the ar$ehole should go talk to some POWs or, at least, watch a few documentaries.
I have written to my MP and Senate representatives and told them so.

Not sure why he needed to mention it at all. It is clear japan have moved on from that, why would he bring it up?

How the hell someone that makes as many "mistakes" in public speaking as him can ever run our country I'll never know. Maybe someone with a better suppository of wisdom than I could shed some light

I'm frankly amazed that he manages to keep making so many glaring public cock-ups. I could not believe his remarks re Japan. Obviously his own party feels that he's passed his use-by date, because no one seems to be making the slightest attempt to control him or at least deflect attention away from his shortcomings, but unless they call a leadership spill pretty damn soon, the Lizard King will have done irreparable damage to their chances in the next election.

Good to see Tony kept his pre-election promise of not EVER dealing with minor parties to pass legislation. :?

Way a stupid thing to say in the first place. It was all bluster because he thought he would control both houses.

IIRC what he said was he would not deal with them to form a government[, but I'm not entirely sure.

Labor registers huge swing of 18.6% in Queensland byelection

Pretty interesting result in the most conservative state in the country. Obvious discontent about the new government
