I think the government if wishing to save some money instead of punishing under 30s who may lose their job through no fault of their own, should look at under 18s and Newstart allowance

It would never be the fault if anyone under 30 - just ask them

Or they could cut the superannuation concessions for the wealthy.

By all means tighten the rules so that only those requiring assistance get it, but not all social security recipients are dole bludgers or are cheating the system.

How can anyone under 30 who genuinely is out of work survive with no payments for 6 months?

What if they have a family and kids?

Unbelievable.

Maybe they pull their heads out of their asses about their attitude and actual ability and they might find it easier. You are NOT entitled to a job! If you **** up, admit it and learn, actually give a $hit and don't blame others. Sick leave is for being sick, not hangovers and coming down from the weekends playtime.
I blame no scores in football!!

Interesting: I'm sure it wasn't that long ago you were saying our economy was the envy of the world.

It still is. But that doesn't mean it's easy to find a job.
And where did I say they should be handed a job?

Well done for overgeneralising all young people too. Certainly helps my argument that some people have no idea...

Massive cut in aid budget too. Those damn blackies and sand n*ggers and their problems. Our fiscal emergency is much more important than their life and death. Fk them off to jail in PNG if they try to come here too...

I think its along the same lines as if you quit a job its 6 months but not if your fired or made redundant - I think. Could be wrong.

Jimmy, sometimes with redundancies it may well not be their fault. The company may have a few in a similar skill set and therefore are cutting numbers for because they need to. To say that yes, you statement is correct in some cases.

I think Jimmy is having a bad week. Libs stuffed up with the Budget and are in all sorts of Trouble and then the Crows pulling off one of the upsets of the year.
