I don't like you.

To me you look a sneeky bum.

Your looks give me no confidence in you or your party.

Everytime I look at you, I think to myself, your a sneeky, scheming bastard.

But I stand up and applaud your financial competance. =D> =D>

You may have saved our state from incompetance... =D>

We'll see the REAL BUDGET after the 2010 election. Notice very little money for the Rann Mahal in the polluted railway yards in this FY. I suspect this ill conceived project will be quietly dropped in time. The spin that is put on evertyhing makes me distrust this mob. In 2010 we will see their true colours. The limiting of the public service to 2.5% is disgusting considering state taxes and charges have risen well above this rate. No doubt the greedy teachers will do much better than this. I should like this mob, they are very conservative as am I, BUT, it is a gut feeling of their dishonesty that turns me right off. Foley knew the triple A was safe weeks ago, typical strawman, be the devil's advocate then act suprised, when the "disaster" is averted and take the credit.

Best thing Rann can do is admit that he was wrong and as you say quietly drop the project and rebuild the RAH, considering the millions that have been put into it in recent years and the savings made by rebuilding rather than relocating, it is the best option financially for the state.

Will be interesting to see how the tough on crime - law and order issues play out with the jail being scrapped!

I will tell you, on very good authority, after the next election, the Public Service will go through the biggest shock they have ever suffered. Foley wont take them on before the election because they need everything to stay in power, but after they are re-elected, look out.......... they are talking of expense savings in the order of $1 - 2 billion

Oh.......BTW.........the spin doctors will avoid any cuts. In fact, they will probably get beefed up

The razor gang has a quoted target of $750m - after the Budget lock up it was very surprising that there was little attention given to an announcement of a razor gang but no details on what the job will be. How do the public know what they will be voting for if that is the case?

I suspect you're "on the money" J41 !
