I would love to see Vini Ciccarello on the front bench, it would extend the triumvirate of incompetance (Ran, Conlon and Foley), those three stooges might actually make her look good.

Is the allocation of spots [rather than who actually gets which portfolio] still determined by Union affiliation?

e.g. the pleasant but incompetent Don Banfield was Minister for Health under Don Dunstan only because his Union had to have a Minister - I think his was the Metal Workers' Union.

Rann didn't have the guts to go against the factions. It is interesting that he's attemting to put a positive spin on it.....stability
