telstra tower.........panaramic views of the whole of canberra.....$2 fee to go to the top........revolving restaurant.....bloody dear though
new parliment house........free.........they have guided tours usually on the hour

old bus depot markets.........open every w/end till xmas

brand depot..........half price brand names clothing markets
there's always the bus tour around canberra. hop on get off as you pay.
now beware when you come here trying to find a pub because there is only about 5 in all canberra BUT there are thousands of clubs where you sign in for the day.
if your looking at dining out the suburb of manuka (pronounced MARN-A-KA) is the lygon st. of canberra.
